I received a very worn out chair, but their website describes as "restored to brandnew". This is how it actually is: fabric is stained and pilled, loose threads, deformed/uneven cushion edges from being used heavily, and scratched armrests, not to mention it was also filthy out of the box I had to wipe down first. I contacted customer service they do not want to do anything about it, and if i return there is a 20% restocking fee. It's a ridiculous shopping experience I wish I didn't embark on.

DON'T WASTER YOUR MONEY!! Boy, I wish I had read these reviews before I spent $500 on a "refurbished" Herman Miller chair from these guys. Refurbished?? It arrived filthy, scratched, dented and smelling like it had come out of a moldy basement. Oh. And it's broken. Most of the adjustment controls are loose and just don't work. As for the purchase experience, communication was almost non-existent, until I asked how to cancel my order, after which it shipped pretty quickly. Now I have to decide if it's worth going through the massive hassle it will be to return it (and pay shipping AND a "restocking" fee), or if I should just accept the fact that I've been swindled, and take the chair to the dump where it belongs. **UPDATE** I opted to return the chair and get what refund I could. FedEx picked it up more than 3 weeks ago. Still no refund. Just a miserable experience from the start.

I will never use Seating Mind again. One arm handle had a tear and the fabric was very worn. No way to contact them. Hopefully enough bad reviews will put them out of business. What a wasted $399.00. Seeking legal counsel.

A that good and successful company wouldn’t risk losing their reputation and behave like a money hungry company charging customers for canceling order because they failed to ship product after a week of order being placed. here’s no double that we’d have a much more difficult time to get that partial payment back without using Paypal. *4/5/20 – Placed order and received no order confirmation from Seatingmind (only a receipt from Paypal) 4/8/20 – After 3 days with no order confirmation from Seatingmind, we sent them an email to request order update, and got an automatic response about order delay. 4/11/20 – After 3 more days with no info from Seatingmind, we sent cancellation stating we couldn’t wait any longer. 3 hours after, we got the same automatic order delay message. We had to send another cancellation and request a full refund via email and also Paypal account. 4/12/20 – Received no cancellation confirmation from Seatingmind but another auto message about order delay. Sent them another email and finally got a cancellation message from Paypal but only with partial refund. Sent them another email to request the remaining refund amount with no success. 4/14/20 – Filed a dispute with Paypal- still pending.

Seating mind is scamming their customers. It is very poorly managed. Jacob cannot begin to competently write business correspondence, it is terrible. They continued to delay shipment of our order. I discovered seating mind has 19 complaints with the Better Business Bureau, which is terrible as well. Their reviews are terrible. I requested a cancellation of our order, which they refused. I demanded the cancellation, stating I would contact PayPal, so they agreed. They only issued a partial refund and refused to give us a full refund. I had to file a dispute with PayPal to get the full refund, which we received.

Ordered my product from their website. Product is legit and works fine, but many oddities. 1. Product came in covered in dust? 2. Yellow goop on the armchair??? 3. No instruction manuals included. Came in partially assembled, which is convenient, but strange. 4. Product features include a tilt-lock mechanism. Did not come with the product. 5. In emailing their customer support, I received a response for a request for photos of the product. They literally said "can u send me pix?" Now I know how strange it is to be a female on the internet and some hormonal guy wants to see what you look like. Still in the process of getting assistance with the tilt-lock. Even if I get the tilt-lock, I'm going to avoid this business like the plague. Weird, weird, weird.

Ordered a chair from them. When I log into their website the item indicates, "shipped". Their system auto generated a FedEx a tracking number that cannot be found in the FedEx system. I have sent them three communications, two via the form on the Website and one via email. The first communication was sent over a week ago. The second one was sent on Monday of last week. To date, I have not gotten a response. Additionally, I have tried to call them and I get, "please enter an extension number". Before you buy from this company check out the BBB ratings. The BBB rates them as an "F". I should have done my due diligence before purchasing. So very disappointing. I have a feeling that I have lost my money. 4/20/20: I just received an email from Seatingmind indicating that I should have my product next week. Once I receive the product I will update this posting and provide a higher rating.
