Cannot recommend
I used this company on advice of a friend who had a good experience. My experience was mediocre - I would not recommend. The chair I received turns out to be the old style Aeron (which is called the "Classic" on the Herman Miller site), which was not advertised. It means my chair is pre-2016, which is not what I wanted (the controls and the posturefit mechanism are totally different). Unlike my friend's, my chair is heavily used and I needed to take apart and tighten various bolts to stop rattles and other issues. I ordered the soft casters and they come separately in a box. It also has a strong odor which I cannot seem to clean off, but it has only been a couple of days. Given the other reviews on here, I am reluctant to send it back for a second shot at a different product. My Aeron was delivered on Friday May 29. It was ordered on May 8. I had two customer service interactions in between which were within the company's stated norms, but not particularly helpful. The packaging was poor and damaged, and I was worried about damage to the chair after my wife saw the delivery guy literally pitch the box into my walkway, but it did survive. As others have mentioned, no instructions or manuals were included. EDIT: in response to the question below, the relevance of the delivery driver behavior is that SeatingMind's packaging is not designed to withstand such behavior, which shouldn't be, but *is* normal. The chair arrived in a thin, broken cardboard box, with a single sheet of bubble wrap covering the upper seat cushion. I'm amazed that it survived. EDIT2: After ten days of trying various methods and chemicals, I still could not get the stench out, so I returned the chair. I was issued a fedex pickup tag via email, I repacked the chair in its original packaging, and it's now on its way back to NJ. Let's see what happens next. Who knew that an Aeron could retain odor like that. EDIT3: It has been twelve days since SeatingMind received my chair, and I still have not had a refund. It was fourteen days since I last heard from customer service after multiple emails and one web-form submission. I have had multiple odd emails suggesting my order is being processed and that I should "hold tight" for shipment, even though I did not want a replacement. I have turned this over to dispute resolution with my credit card company. This experience has been poor, and is shocking customer service from a modern e-commerce company.

I sent an internal urgent email to [email protected]. They will get back to you shortly. Not sure what the relevance of the behavior of the fedex fellow is?
