I wish there was a way to do NEGATIVE 5 STARTS This is the worst company to work with. The only thing they have going is a pretty website. Its the website that caught my attention. I bought my chair from them. The site stated it was leather. And theirs a price diffrence of 200 more for leather. When the chair arrived. It was packaged in a box that looks like it was destroyed and just used one more time for my delivery. It was hanging together by tape. Just a mess upon arrival. I wish there was a way to post the pics. We opened the box and the chair we paid 699 for was not leather...It was cloth. I sent a message to customer service and they sent back and automated response. I've waited 1 month for a reply and nothing...nada no reply from their customer service. They had reviews posted on their website and the reviews were cherry picked. Then I google " Seating Mind Reviews"...WOW WOW WOW...I have never seen a company with so many negative reviews. These people are crooks and do not ever respond. I don't expect a return reply. Because their reviews are the worst. And their customer service is absent. if not blatant and intentional "ignore the customer" I believe in karma. These people will get their own in time. And I will copy and paste my truthful experience of this company. Later, i realize that the usage of a good chair is used daily. Moving forward we will just buy the product from the actually vendor as oppose to rolling the dice with some scam company.

I recently purchased a Steelcase Leap Stool and when it arrived it would not maintain the height setting. As soon as you set on it it would start slowly sinking. I contact customer service via email. They Wanted to do complex troubleshooting via email with videos I make. I asked to speak to someone live and they said they are too busy they can only help via email. The issue is identified as a bad pneumatic cylinder but they will not replace it unless I reassemble the chair and video the problem.

These guys are crooks. They do not stand behind their products and they ship you falling apart products IF they even ship them. If they claim they will help you - DO NOT BELIEVE IT! They will lie to you constantly

Non-existing updates on orders, I placed my order on December 31 and still waiting for the chair to arrive. Asked for an update and they say they're refunding instead. Good and Bye.

I rarely write bad reviews because I know how hard it is running a small business, but their customer service has been absolutely horrible. Long story short, purchased a chair and about 11 months later the hydraulic cylinder started to fail. It took a couple weeks at least of emails to get them to send me out replacement part. I would've preferred they repaired the chair themselves, but I'll take what I can get. Unfortunately the old cylinder will not come undone from the chair. And I've emailed them like 6 or 7 times asking for guidance and all they say is, "did you follow our steps on how to remove it?" Each time I reply I did and it still hasn't helped. Then radio silence. I'm so frustrated I'm not sure what to do, so here I am writing a 1 star review so others won't make my same mistake of buying from them in the future.

DO NOT BUY FROM SEATINGMIND. We purchased 6 chairs from them. We received 2 of them that were defective. We reached out to them provided pictures and a video and still to this day we haven't received the replacement arms and it's been almost a yr. They do not stand behind the product they sell.

2/9/21- part 2 - So I finally received a response but they claim I didn't buy from Seatingmind. As I stated in my first review, these guys own multiple furniture websites (ie Instyle Modern, FineModImports) and they also share warehouse, customer service (neither Instyle Modern nor Seating Mind ever answers their phone or replies to email) and they have the same types of reviews online. All I want is my refund which is the honest thing to do. 2/9/21 - I received an outreach to gather more information but once provided I have no resolution and more days have passed. 2/1/21 - I ordered a chair which arrived in far worse condition than the "mint" description on the website. I reached out to customer service and they immediately responded. I supplied pictures which were shared with Abe Berkovits and he approved the return and refund. I returned the item in July 2020 and still have not received my refund (as of Jan 2021). They do not respond to customer service inquires nor do they answer their phones. It seems that the owners (Abe and Jacob Kellner) own multiple furniture companies/websites that all share a warehouse but claim to be different entities. All of the companies have the exact same reviews that sound like this one so these business practices follow the owners.

The very expensive Aeron chair I bought from them fell apart after only 3 months. They refused to do anything about it. Promised me over and over that they would do the right thing - but then proceeded to ignore me. STAY AWAY (In true SeatingMind Fashion... they replied to this review saying "so sorry - we will get back to you". And then proceeded to IGNORE me. What a terrible company. I paid nearly $600 for a chair that broke in months - and they don't stand behind their workmanship. Because of this review - they promised me a refund and that I could return the chair. They have now resumed IGNORING me! This company is down right the worst. Despite the reply below - we are going on 6 months of them promising to fix this and ignoring me. Please do not buy from this company.
