It took several tries to get my order correct. In an effort to rectify this I was offered a 10% discount but on a higher total invoice then my original quote. After one year I do not believe Seadek will hold up to the 5-7 years advertised. I believe this is due the installation process being advertised as being installed right over non-skid surfaces. I believe the non-skid needed to be sanded down. At a minimum the instructed 1/8" over the non-skid should be at least 3/8" or the most allowed to obtain a good "seal" over the non-skid. I would use this product again but make those changes on the install.

Hi Ted, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. We have done years of extensive testing and SeaDek can be applied right on top of a standard non skid. It is best to go 1/4" past the non skid to secure the bond. We do not however recommend sanding your deck before application as it is not a necessary step. For additional adhesion, you could also use a Primer 94 if you feel you have an aggressive nonskid to help the bond. Thank you.

The material and color were as expected. installation was easy and looks good, just be prepared, go slow, and follow the instructions. However, the material on the swim platform did not account for the pop-up cleats. When I inquired about this, i was told that Seadek could recut the material, but it would nearly double the price. Disappointing.

Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with SeaDek Marine Products. To help ensure our customers are getting the product they need that is going to properly fit their boat we do provide drawings with dimensions before ordering and a dry-fit. In the instructions provided, it says if the drawing does not work to make adjustments using a permanent marker. This does change from the discounted predrawn template from the website to a custom order as we now have to provide a custom drawing for your vessel. We will pass along your feedback to see if we can better communicate this process. Thank you.

Placed order, approved template, customer team failed to process approved order. Weeks after I called to just check status only to find the order, although charged and paid, was not in line to be made. I received it finally the day we pulled the boat out for season . Product is always 5 star, not so much this time on customer service though. Yes they took some money off for mistake, etc. I didn't want the money, I really just needed the item as ordered.
