In my search for a HIPAA compliant, affordable alternative to the old school fax machine and dedicated fax line, I discovered Scrypt, Inc. I have been very pleased with the Sfax service and I highly recommend it. I receive e-mail confirmation of fax status and I know every time I receive a fax, no matter where I am at. I can send and access my faxes from my smart phone, and I am not wasting toner and paper every time a fax comes in. I am also able to export the faxes as PDFs directly to my patient folders for easy viewing within my EHR. In summary, Sfax is great!

I contacted Scrypt regarding an error message that provided their phone number. i was told that they would not help me and that if they help me, it would set a precedent for them to help other customers and they don't do that! NEVER use this company if you value respect and customer service.

It's OK. They don't have business plans that will benefit businesses. They charge lots of money for overage. I pay more in overage than plan. I provided them an opportunity to partner with my EHR company so that their software can be invoked from within EHR. They didn't care.

I have been very happy with Scrypt for our office. We needed to increase our plan for additional use and the rep was helpful. Any time we have had to contact tech support (which is not often), I get immediate responses. The best feature for us is the storage of previous faxes - I can check on faxes we sent from the time we started with the company. I would highly recommend them to other physician offices looking for HIPAA compliant, affordable fax service.

SFax is a great produce for small businesses, especially those that deal with HIPAA-protected information. The interfaces is very easy to use, and it has all the basic features we need.
