I would give Stratford Career Institute zero stars if I could. Their courses are all subjective reading and not well written. Their test questions are not about the main points of the reading material. It makes no sense! At the start of this course, which I am still paying for and will slog my way though just for that reason, I considered another course but changed my mind before receiving any materials. There cancellation policy sucks. I had not received the materials but since it had been after 5 days, I owed them $100. So stupid. Don't go here. The affordability is not worth it if you don't learn anything.

When I enrolled with the Stratford Career Institute I spoke with a representative over the phone. I did not take the online program at the time, my program was going to be mailed to me. After waiting two weeks for the program, I called Stratford and changed to the online program. Initially, when I enrolled, I was not informed that I had 5 days to review the program in order to freely cancel without penalty. Within two days of receiving the program online, I canceled the program over the phone with a representative. At that time I was not made aware of a five-day cancellation grace period until much later I received a $129. bill for the cancellation fee. When I called the Stratford Career Institute to complain the customer service insisted that I did have a 5-day grace period to cancel and told me that the matter was now in collection and there was nothing that could be done to resolve the matter. Beware of the contract. Diane Lucas

So I am confused, I signed up for the Administrative Assistant course and have heard so many mixed reviews about this school. However, when it's googled it is the third one to show up, not sure if that accounts for anything. I just want to get a solid training to be successful in my career choice. Main issue that bothers me is it's not an accredited school. Please any advice.

I recieved my diploma for highschool in 2017. That all went fine. Until this year, I tried to do an actual start of a career move only to find out they apparently have me in collections for a course I never signed up for and living in a city that I have not lived in for over 20 years. I have supplied them with proof that it had nothing to do with me and they claim they believe me, but won't budge on anything. I looked up my collection file and it is listed for 2018, the lady today said 2019. And then proceeded to tell me a file was opened in 2020. I asked her to explain that one because I was hospitalized during the timeline she gave me for that one. Be careful, they are opening new files under your name and then putting you into collections claiming you owe them that money. Proof or no proof. They don't care

A scam like no other. I signed up for a drafting class. And not only did they not send the materials to me. They actually never had the materials it was constantly back ordered I was waiting for a month for these things to arrive and in the middle of the course they did a bait and switch and turned the mechanical drafting course into a civil course. No geometric constructions and no engineering drafting graphics. They’re still charging my card , screw these scammers. All I wanted to do is upskill myself the least you could’ve done is given me a quality and relevant course. You’re not getting a cent out of me.

I graduated from Stratford Career Institute several years ago earning my certificate in Creative Writing. If you don't have any creative imagination, choose another course. You learn the tools to take whatever is in your creative mind and put it on paper. My favorite character is Danny Pinkletoes and I get this young kid of mine in all sorts of trouble. Create your characters, develop a premise and plot, and sooner than later, the story begins to write itself. There is power in the meaning of words. I love to share my stories with my friends and I still continue to write and imagine good ideas for great stories. I was in a community college for pre-nursing. I aced all my life science courses. I love Anatomy and Physiology. I enrolled in the Pharmacy assistant course. I thought I was in med school. This school opened my eyes to medical terminology. I started to learn about the human body and I was shocked about what I didn't learn in community college! Learning about life science and the human body was very challenging because of the pronunciation of the words. You better get a medical dictionary! I'm also enrolled in the Electrician course-very electrifying. Safety first. Electricity can be dangerous and this course stresses that. Ever wonder what electricians do to wire a house? I was involved in wiring years ago and wanted to know how the industry has changed. This course is up to date. I spend time in the med lab, I call it; get off from work to learn how to wire a house! So much to learn and no time restraints, my tuition is paid up and I have up to 5 years to complete the course! have any questions? Just ask your instructor online. I'm just a online junkie for knowledge, from two great schools, who make it easy to learn. When I'm finished, I won't be in the dark about what I'm supposed to know.
