This college is a COMPLETE joke. I've been getting billed over the past 3 years for a school I had STOPPED attending back in 2024. I reached out to them today to get an answer as to why I am STILL getting BILLED. This is crazy and I should not still be getting billed for this mess.

The rude and unaccredited
The courses are NOT accredited and cannot be used towards college credits. The classes are introductory only. Student services are rude and apparently have issues with the hearing impaired! STAY AWAY !

Dips your toes into the subjects.
It was a cheaper option and I was able to complete the courses at my own pace. I enjoyed the materials (books) and took the tests online. I finished one for Drug and Alcohol Specialist as I originally wanted a career in counseling or therapy. I received my diploma for this. I also started Business Management and was one book away from completing it. I was billed for the rest of the course, if I wanted to finish, I didn't owe much but ultimately didn't have the time AT ALL and had too many important bills to finish paying. They never tried to get the remainder from me after a couple of months and it doesn't show up anywhere else. From my understanding at this time, you weren't locked in to pay, you just kept up with payments to get your next book and had to have the remainder paid off to receive your diploma/certificate.
ALSO they clearly state that this is "career training", most being labeled as introductions, not a real license or certification, most of the courses would require additional schooling. It's more of a find out if its right for you type thing. You won't find out everything there is to know about Forensic Science or Child Psychology and not need more schooling. Though some courses like Gardening, Death Doula, Security Guard, or Bartending, I think those courses might be sufficient for an entry level position and show that you have done extra work to learn more about the profession.
In all I enjoyed the experience and would definitely use them again from some courses like cybersecurity, bookkeeping or accounting.

Poor Communication and Bad Ethics
I initially signed up for a course with this company. I never received any course material, nor did I start any of the online courses. The company took my initial payment, in which was refunded and then stopped charging my credit card. I just assumed I wasn’t properly enrolled.
This company has not attempted to communicate with me once regarding any outstanding balance and decided to send me to collections. I didn’t even know I was sent to collections as the collection agency hasn’t even reached out to me to try and collect this apparent debt.
The way I found out I was sent to collections was that I got a notification from both Equifax and TransUnion that I have a balance in collections.
How can a company send someone to collections without any communication, then put it on one’s credit report without any notice to try and collect the apparent debt? Now it’s significantly impacted my credit score because these people don’t know how to communicate.
This is also NOT an accredited college and your diploma is not recognizable by most places.
Stay away from this institute!

It’s 50/50 to 80/20!
It’s a great school for those looking to earn personal growth in education. What’s learnt at the school is beneficial. But not to transfer to another institution. I’ve completed two programs. But, I hold a Masters of Communication from an accredited university. It’s what you make of IT!

The price is good and it's great that…
The price is good and it's great that they allow you to make payments that are affordable. However if you try to change classes they charge you a good chunk of change just to switch. That's just the fee for allowing you to do so. Not the cost of materials or none of that.
And they won't budge on their fees. Customer service is not very helpful and I'm not even sure if you get a certificate that you can actually do anything with.

Stratford: Stop Harassing us for money!
This is a nightmare experience "school." Office woman is hostile, yelled at us. Possible scam website with typos for email addresses. They continue to harass for payments when we aren't even a student with them. Despite defending ourselves they junk mail and invoice not even legitimate nor resolvable. One will probably have to get legal counsel if considering dealing with them, at all. Report this to the appropriate agency, ultimately. Their tactic is to get money from someone; don't let them break you where manipulation pays off. They tried to start that odd process that via phone, when we asked a couple very simple, polite questions, and they wreaked any possible true student/school relationship. STOP the barrage NOW. In receiving their mailings don't take the bait, you've already said everything. Especially in studying certain programs is this really a caring, reputable 'school'? Not at all. So many their commercial postcards and ads in magazines are a waste, and misleading. Seekers or true students, do not sign any "contracts." Stratford Carrer Institute has proven themselves to be not only unprofessional but risky to deal with. They will not send any subsequent study materials, books nor exams just aggressive, threatening mailings. They've picked a fight which we will no longer attempt to defend ourselves over. They can and will be reported, if not already by another, who we certainly would believe and hope they too can resolve. Stratford has ruined our faith in them to be a respected program that might care about the field and sectors chosen. Horrible company!
