Ok, ok, ok, ok

I subscribed to SciSpace Premium expecting full access to their AI research assistant for summarizing and analyzing papers. However, after paying for an annual plan, I discovered that each query or paper upload consumes a lot of credits, and once those credits run out, the main feature (the “AI Agent”) becomes unusable. This limitation was not clearly mentioned on the pricing or checkout page. Only after contacting support did I learn that the Premium plan’s “unlimited access” applies mostly to minor tools (citation generator, paraphraser, etc.)—not to the core AI research assistant I paid for. When I requested a refund, support refused, claiming I had used more than 300 credits, even though I wasn’t informed that using the service would disqualify me from a refund. The responses I received were template-like and dismissive, with no genuine attempt to resolve the issue or acknowledge the lack of transparency. I believe the company’s advertising is misleading and its refund policy unfair to consumers. I advise potential users to be cautious and read the fine print carefully before subscribing. For students and researchers expecting an unlimited AI tool for literature reviews, this service is not what it appears to be.

Very disappointed. The service is clumsy, unreliable, and not what it claims to be. I contacted support for a refund right after subscribing, and all what I can say is complete ignorance. It’s hard to believe anyone had a positive experience here — mine was the exact opposite.

I couldnt find my invoices so i sent an e-mail and received all via email within 2 minutes!
