A structured schedule helped manage the volume of material covered in the CFA Level 2 exam. It is very daunting trying to tackle the material, and Kaplan's system gave a strategic plan to prepare for exam day. I also appreciated the four mock exams, especially when there are currently zero computer mocks available from the CFAI (two can be printed from pdf). I would like to see Kaplan move to more of the CFAI exam style, with shorter vignettes and more direct questions related to the material. A side-by-side format not only prepares candidates for the exam but also makes it easier than scrolling up and down the page to reference material. Overall I thought the product was helpful, especially if a candidate is unsure of where to begin or needs help staying on track.

It's a great course, with great follow up activities. I wish it was a little more interactive.

Like the previous two levels, kaplan schweser level 3 was a great help to study CFA. Also liked the videos as supporting material. Two issues for improvement: - I sometimes got the impression that the database questions were not always very clear and sometimes I just disagreed with the answers after checking the material. I also communicated with Kaplan staff on this. - The videos were a great help, used these for the first time. It was striking, though,that some areas (especially derivatives) were covered in much more detail than others, which does not always seem to be justified by the exam weights. Best lecturers were Stuart Jackaman and the guy doing most of the fixed income and GIPS (don't remember his name).

Used Kaplan for CFA Level 3 Exam. I used the basic package but also purchased and online writing workshop. I have used Kaplan for the previous exams and was equally satisfied with the materials. Felt that the online workshop and practice exams were most useful. Some of the notes that summarize the curriculum lacked enough detail when it comes to answering exam questions. Overall, i felt prepared for the exam, but would advise reading the curriculum directly from the CFA for questions a person is not fully confident in

I bought the Essential Package and the secret sauce, completed all the tasks that were listed and some extra questions. I didn´t pass, it turns out it isn´t enough doing all the tasks also you have to do extra questions. I´m retaking the exam but for everyone taking it I recomend yo do all the exercise you can to pass your exam.

Revised my review as the service has been fine since the fix as mentioned by their response. The quality of material is great but they still get a 4/5 as the issues shouldn't have happened in the first place

I felt that the material provided did a good job of explaining and teaching concepts. I do feel that the difficulty and language used could be made to more emulate that of the CFAI.

Very detailed course work and schedule. That is helpful. It would be great if the Schwesser application and webpage would work on IPhones.
