I was let down that the timing not being included on the exam and the moving question to question was buggy. However, i did like the post exam analytics. It would be good if those were more descript. For example. You can tell you how you perform compared to others taking the exam, but not how far out from the exam/ how prepared the others are. Is there retake bias or was that compared to others first attempt?

I’m giving Kaplan Schweser 3 stars because I was disappointed in the materials I received. After using Kaplan for the Series SIE, 7, 63, 65, State Life and Health, and State Property and Casualty insurance licenses, I had grown accustomed to their style of teaching and thought I knew what to expect when I ordered the FRM study kit. I could see the Kaplan influence, but whatever input Schweser had over the format and Q-bank ruined the effect. After trying two different FRM test prep kits, and the official books from GARP, I’ll go back to Kaplan Schweser, and give them another shot, but I’m not going to be as happy as I was with the other Kaplan products. The major complaints are the need to already know the math involved, and fully understand the equations, and the study calendar and Q-bank are not as user friendly as they are on other Kaplan test prep kits. FRM requires a lot of statistics math. If you’ve never taken statistics, I recommend getting an Idiot’s Guide For Dummies book, or crash coursing it first. The Kaplan Schweser books do not explain the math, or what they symbology means in the equations. I spent hours on YouTube, and reading other books, and ruminating on the math before I now have a vague idea of what it all means. I’m still going to struggle with it, but at least now I have some idea what’s going on.

Needs a raincheck system in place for all the in-person cancelations in 2020 so when in-person sessions resume one can re-enroll.

Hello, Thank you for providing feedback on your experience with us. We did have to cancel our in-person traditional classes this past year due to COVID-19. Our team reached out to everyone enrolled in an in-person class to advise of the cancellation and offer alternative options, such as Live Online. We do not have any plans at this time for resuming in-person training. Thank you for your suggestion.

Average; the material is quite long-winded including the online videos. Would be nice to have more relatable examples real life application.

I took the live mock exam by Kaplan for the dec 19 level i. And it was way harder than the actual one and put me really down. Kaplan needs to tone the difficulty down. Other than that qs were ok.
