I didn’t pass and because I used the books rather than enter my answers online I am not entitled to pass guarantee. So I’m supposed to pay half the price just to have my online access restored. Which clearly I won’t do since I still have the books.

The material looks good and was sufficient to pass the CFA Level I exam. However, I spent more than 600 hours of studying the schweser material and mock exams and did not pass the level II so my overall experience is bad, unfortunately. The real exam is by far shorter than the Schweser one. It would be better if the Schweser ones would have the same length and focus more on the questions actually tested on the actual exam.

The length of the actual exam questions varies from year to year (and from item set to item set even within the same exam), you will find that the mock exam questions also have varying length. The main thing to note though is that every single LOS is covered in the material and as long as you understand the substance of the LOS, the length of the exam becomes irrelevant.
