Kaplan borrowed $300,000,000 from major banks yet still feels the need to make false claims to their customers.
I had to reschedule my CFA exam and contacted Kaplan about extending access to the study material, they emailed back and said I could extend access for $99. When I called to pay, they refused to process the extension and acted as if they never made the claim. This is an irresponsible business practice for a company of Kaplan’s size. According to SEC filings, they borrowed $300,000,000 from JPMorgan, BofA, and 4 other banks in 2022 alone. The loans were guaranteed by other subsidiaries of Kaplan’s parent company, Graham Holdings, a listed company with a $3.39 billion market cap. Yet despite these finances and their strong market position across multiple securities exams, CFA, CAIA, FRM, etc, Kaplan still feels the need to lie over $99? As almost every other review I’ve read here and on other forums suggests, Kaplan’s course delivery is fine, but their customer service and business practices are atrocious. SEC filing: Google - "EX-10.1 2 a2022q110-qex101.htm EXHIBIT 10.1" In response to the admin's reply; 1) It doesn't surprise me that instead of apologizing or asking for more details to remedy the situation, you’d rather resort to semantics and ask Trustploit to remove my review. 2) As per your own website you don't officially transact with customers as “Kaplan Schweser” but instead as Kaplan North America, LLC, one of roughly 140 subsidiaries Kaplan, Inc. owns. Yes, including Kaplan UK. Not to mention Kaplan North America, LLC is clearly a signatory on the loan.

Hello AB, Thank you for reaching out. After reviewing the document you supplied, you are referring to Kaplan UK, a company different from Kaplan Schweser. Thank you, Regards, Emily
