Every week they have mentor calls which is great, but they tend to pick the same people to ask questions even when there are over 100 different people in the call they could choose. So those few people get that mentorship regularly while most of us are paid observers. So, they tend to call on who they already know. Then they had some presentations and said they would share them with us but never did. Multiple people asked about it and they said we'll post it after the call and then next week and then it never happened so they don't deliver on their promises. On one call I joined it was supposed to be to set our goals, but in one hour only two people spoke on the call so we're just listening to them have a conversation. James also just ghosted a response after initiating with questions which is very unprofessional. On the plus side, a lot of the members are interesting and have real businesses. They ask solid questions on the calls which others can learn from as well. There's a decent community and collaborative element to it. When I first joined I was impressed but then they dropped the ball on a few things and don't seem to be picking it up.

Extremely Disappointing Experience and Still No Refund
Update: 1/13/26
I appreciate the School of Content refunding me. Added 1 star. Perhaps it was poor timing that the founders were on vacation when I requested a refund, but I never received a formal response from the team confirming a refund had been processed. I received my refund within 12 hours after I wrote the 1-star review. It makes me question if it was mere coincidence or because I gave them a reason to take action.
They were kind enough to offer 90 days free access to the program as an apology for the delay, but I have no interest in the program.
I'd like to keep my review here in case anyone else experiences something similar.

I joined the School of Content based on promises made during the enrollment process that turned out not to be true. The program was advertised as offering flexible live coaching calls, accessible mentors, and a structured curriculum — none of which matched what I actually received.
The live calls were almost entirely during my working hours, even though I was explicitly told there would be multiple time options each week. That was the main reason I signed up. I immediately brought up this schedule conflict, and I was told to “just join for 15 minutes during lunch,” which is completely unrealistic for anyone with a real job, especially in healthcare. This is not what you want to hear when you've paid close to $7000 for a program.
After raising my concerns in my Welcome Call, I was assured I would be refunded due to the schedule conflict. It’s been 2 weeks, and I still haven’t received anything. I’ve followed up multiple times and keep getting vague responses, delays, or silence.
At this point, I feel misled, ignored, and incredibly frustrated. For a program that charges thousands of dollars, you’d expect professionalism and integrity. Instead, I’m stuck chasing down a refund.
I absolutely would not recommend this program based on my experience.
Response from School of MentorsJan 3, 2026
Hi Stephanie,
I’m genuinely sorry to hear that you’re feeling frustrated. That’s never the experience we want anyone to have.
We believe in over delivering and going above and beyond for our clients so we take these kinds of reviews very seriously.
I do want to clarify a few important points for transparency and accuracy:
-After you raised concerns we approved and processed a full refund, which has already been issued. Refunds normally take 5-10 business days to reflect back on your account and there is nothing we could do on our end to expedite that.
-In addition, we reached out and offered you complimentary support with your content in an attempt to over deliver and make sure you were set up for success even after the refund.
-We’ve also made multiple attempts to follow up and ensure everything was resolved smoothly via email and text but unfortunately haven’t received a response. We remain open and willing to connect at any time to make sure this is fully closed out in a way that feels fair to you.
Again like I said above, we believe in over delivering and going above and beyond for our clients and that is what we are hoping to do here.
We take feedback seriously and are continuously improving scheduling options, curriculum structure, and communication based on member input.
If you’d like to reconnect, our team is happy to help - our door is always open.
Wishing you the best,
The School of Content Team
