I'm not sure why we have to give this company any stars. I'm moving from California, my home of 63 years, because of SCE. They make my life too stressful. I'm disabled and must live in a temperature controlled environment which is too difficult to accomplish with SCE. They have so many reason for shutting off the power that it disrupts my existence and I experience a lot of anxiety because of them. I have to own a gas generator because they shut off the electricity so often and for 8+ hours at a time. Also, their notifications are programmed by people with schizophrenia. They email me, call me and text me, all of them three times in a row. They do this in the middle of the night which is totally unacceptable. Why would you notify people of an upcoming event days away, in the middle of the night? And don't get me started on the prices! 😡 Imagine paying a $250 summer electric bill for a 600 sq ft house on the money I get from Social Security Disability! I'm done.

They put my bill in both my name and my son’s name. The bill was never supposed to be in my son’s name. When we had to move from a flood ridden rental we had so much chaos going on it went unnoticed. When it was noticed the bill had got to a super high amount. Now I’m trying to fix it. And they are refusing to work with me!

What a bad experience... Im dealing with an power outage for over 24 hrs and worst i got babies in my house. What is upsetting about this company is i already got more than 6 different time frame to restore power.. lies... I finally get through to an agent and they act like they care but they also lie....their explanation don't add up with the websites or AI.. they dont give options of hotel or fridge food reimbursement. I just really hate having to rely on this monopoly company 😒 ..

Another dumb bot real people don't want to work anymore. Rich companies being tight wads again by not hiring?? Where are our tax monies going...

Southern California Edison is helping people generously .. I had many late fees they rescheduled my payment over a year .. other thing I am on portable oxygen they sent me 2 solar chargeable batteries for free . Now I feel more safe if any outage occurred I can plugin my oxygen machine with lighting and TV. SCE TAKE CARE OF THEIR CLIANTS.

First I need to say everyone was nice who tried to help me. I like to pay online and when I make a payment online I get Spanish. My call to Southern California Edison was to have the account changed from Spanish to English. I spoke to the technical department and they told me to go to the settings and change the language to English. I later noticed that the account is in English but when I go to pay it's in Spanish. I have paid before but I'm really tired of doing that. When I went to upgrade the payment methods I couldn't understand what I was being asked to do. And there was no way to change the payment area from Spanish to English. So I just requested the bills to be in English hopefully they will come in English instead of Spanish.

chatgpt is much more helpful and accurate than the 3 world country, poor english speaking, human customer service they outsourced to answer calls. it is trash! it is unfortunate that we are unable to go completely off grid and just rely on our solar panels and batteries.

Incredibly difficult to talk to a human, their AI virtual assistant is useless, I tried 8 times to state my need and it never worked. I have to randomly try different options in their menu to talk to a person, finally after like 20 minutes of videogaming my way to her, she started to read from her screen endless statements without giving me the chance to explain the reason of my call. I finally asked her to send a technician to remove my meter locks to let Tesla to replace my backup switch, since they came over and it was locked ( Tesla and SCE are not in the best terms). After 5 days I haven't got back a phone call from a SCE rep to confirm the service.
