The thuroghness of the process can be daunting, but I guess that's the point. I would sail through it were I to do it again. Coming from Thailand, there was a lot at stake and I couldn't help but be nervous. It all came off as planned. 8 flights to get to Bushnell! But the folks there were happy to help.
All is good including banking, new phone, and DL with the Savvy Nomad address. After that trip I'm delighted I don't have to worry about that stuff for 8 years! Thanks to the team and the AI agent is pretty good too😃

Their web page interface is very easy to work with and guide you through the processes that need to be completed. Frequent questions were a big help also.

Good Experience So Far, with just one hiccup
I am upgrading my earlier review from three stars to four. My three-star review was the result of a less-than-reassuring experience with a critical mailing (a copy of my social security card-- which is required, by the way, to get your FL drivers license).
My experience was that when I requested the replacement card from the Social Security Administration's automated system, I could not get that system to accept any version of my SavvyNomad residential address that included the assigned unit number. I had to settle for excluding the unit number, with all of the uncertainty that goes along with that.
As it turns out, the SSA mailing arrived this afternoon and so my replacement card is apparently waiting for me in my mailbox. All is well that ends well, to be sure, but the ability to reliably receive critical mailings like this is one of the biggest reasons I signed up for the service in the first place. And the SSA isn't the only agency/institution that has problems with the assigned unit number... Work arounds are available, yes. SavvyNomad will (apparently) look out for you if you exclude the unit number for some reason, but yeah, I can't blame them for not wanting to try to match names to unit numbers all day. Nor can they expect their mail carrier to deliver to hundreds or thousands of recipients without the disambiguation of a unit number...
Competent and valuable service for sure, and I'm glad SavvyNomad does what they do, but this unit number issue is problematic at best.

Hi Ted,
I'm Bo, one of the founders here. Jameson, who you spoke with about entering your address for the replacement SSN card, passed your conversation along to me. I wanted to follow up with a clearer explanation, since I don't think we explained the underlying issue well the first time.
What you're running into is almost certainly an address validation quirk, not a problem with the address itself. Not every unit or lot number is registered in the USPS Address Management System (AMS), which is what most autocomplete and address-verification tools check against. When a unit isn't in AMS, those tools sometimes flag the address and ask you to confirm it — but the address is still deliverable and is accepted by government and financial institutions. In practice, you can usually proceed past the warning and enter the address exactly as we provided it.
We've helped a large number of customers through this same step successfully, so I'm confident we can get you sorted. If you're still stuck, a screenshot of the error is the fastest way for us to pinpoint what's happening — but if you'd rather not send one, just describe what you're seeing and we'll work from that.
Happy to help whenever you're ready.
Best,
Bo

Truly the Cadillac of mail handling services for Expats.
This is the only service that I have found that provides both a residential address and complete mail receiving and handling services. Truly the Cadillac of mail services among expats.
Signup is a bit daunting due to USPS requirements but it is worth the effort in the longer run.
So far all of my financial services business relationships have accepted the residential address without complaints which is not possible with a simple CMRA mailing address. I was also able to transfer my Medicare to the address without problems.
