Quick Product Validation & Cutting Edge Techniques
The skills learned are invaluable. We get to quickly get product validation done through ads. There is a lot of cutting edge techniques like leveraging AI that is very impressive and we got to try some tools free of charge. My advice is to pay attention to the contract and keep up with the responsibilities required as students of the program. This includes keeping track of your start date in order to determine whether the performance was met within the window. This is very important to be responsible for keeping track of. I missed my refund opportunity because I did not keep track of when the 24 weeks were supposed to be up. They let me stay in the program for free and then a few months of a reduced fee and then free again. So there is a lot of understanding and flexibility that I have experienced with Fred and Team. Probably because they see that we students are trying and participating. Just my theory. The communications sometimes is very slow. At one point one of the coaches was sharing his screen and there were a lot of student threads so I can imagine there’s a lot of people to communicate with. I do agree with some comments that the coaching does seem to lean into streetwear a lot. I use print on demand and do not like the manufacturing route with long shipping windows initially. If you’re already working with custom manufacturing then you’ll probably be fine with the approach and expediting tech packs etc using external paid tools taught in the program. When using their paid design services it was also geared towards custom manufacturing. But thank God, there were some POD providers that were able to make it close to the design created by their team. I would request going forward for custom design work that it’s on a product you already know you can find/use. The product they helped design did make more sales than anything I made before. So credit to their designer for that! The program courses are continuing to grow as well. More content has been added to cover branding which is exciting. Have I met my performance goals? No. But I have been learning a lot and feel confident in the framework being taught and just need to keep on at it. As business owners we are responsible for our brands and need to make the best decisions for them even if contrary to the current program or coach we work with. So do your research, pay attention to details and ask questions when signing up for any program! Take a step away if needed but be diligent.
