Most people rave about our hot fajita lunch. Sorry you were disappointed. Putting together a freshly cooked meal during a full day trip 45 miles from the nearest town in the middle of the desert does have some challenges. I'm not sure when you came, but conditions vary from enormous waves to tight rocky technical moves. Some folks prefer big water, some prefer the technical challenge of lower flows.Our prices are competitive and the added cost due to the $20 per person Apache Land Fee and the $3,000 per season licensing fee does add costs that other rivers don't have. Setting up and tearing down on the Apache Reservation each year also adds costs that other rivers don't have. Costs on the Salt are certainly higher than our other rivers. We think it is totally worth it!
