SalesHive sold us a “dedicated” SDR and they did not deliver
SalesHive sold us a “dedicated” SDR, which we later learned does not mean a full-time, 40-hour-per-week SDR assigned exclusively to your account. Their definition appears to mean the same SDR working across multiple accounts. This distinction was not clearly explained during the sales process. SalesHive claimed this was an “industry standard” definition. It is not. We vetted several outbound providers in parallel, and all defined “dedicated” as a full-time SDR. Once this discrepancy became clear, we reconfirmed it directly with those competitors. Notably, SalesHive’s contract does not define “dedicated” at all—an omission we are now addressing with legal counsel in an effort to recover a portion of the fees paid. Additional red flags included aggressive pressure to ramp during the holidays despite us being a B2B company with minimal holiday activity, as well as required prepayment for services, which is also not standard in this space. The tech stack is decent but not exceptional, and only a small subset of the team appears to understand it end-to-end. When we requested to exit the engagement due to misaligned expectations caused by the sales process, SalesHive insisted we complete an additional month. Bottom line: we were sold terms and capabilities that were not delivered. Read the negative reviews carefully before engaging.
