PIRATES!! They will be soo courteous and professional as they give you a very reasonable, lowball estimate and take your Non-Refundable deposit. The day they show up to move you, all bets are off. The price of your move will increase exorbitantly. Mine went from $7K to $17K!! Now you’re stuck. Pay or lose your deposit and be left without a mover on your moving day! As if that is not bad enough, your final payment is due in cash or a money order. The system is designed to rob you! Oh and they will beat the hell out of your furniture and not assemble anything. Don’t be a victim. This is a ROGUE mover!!

They charge half the truck and said it's 10000 Pound missing half .my stuff ihave a full page of my missing stuff lot of my items are broken .I have to trow away my mattress and box spring giant spot of oil on it .they were charging 6200$.they carried the lawn chair on the dolly that weighting about 5 Pound it's rainy day and floor where all dirty and full of mud and they pull the mattress on the floor and so on there was 2 couches a fridge '1bedroom set ,2shelves ,a drier,and boxes and bags of clothes 10000 pounds it's the Canadian one from Scarborough.not from the States.

I wouldn't use these people if I were dead in my grave. I don't even live in Canada but found a news special on these dirtbags from CBC Marketplace. Type in: Secret trackers and hidden cameras show how movers could rip people off (Marketplace) on YouTube. Please watch the investigative report. They are notorious for having their customers (victims) re-sign papers on the spot when all of their stuff is in the moving truck and threatening to not give the owner's property back after they jack up the rate. Moving is a straight forward business down here in Texas. Charge for loading, unloading, and driving (with fuel cost added in). You don't come back and "re-negotiate" a higher price on the spot; That is called scamming. This is the same company as Safebound. Same exact text on their website. Same manager listed on both webpages. Please check U-Haul of moving and storage help. I have always used them and drive my own moving trucks. If you don't have the time too, hire some college kids on the weekend to drive the truck for you and put a tracking device in boxes with your belongings.

I rate Safebound Moving and Storage below the standards for a moving company. The company needs to be put out of business based on negative my reviews that I've read on Facebook.com, Google.com, MyMovingReview.com, and through other reviews that I have read were the consumers have received the same unprofessional service as I have. Please be aware of Safebound Moving and Storage scam were they will give you a low estimate in writing and when the movers comes on the day of the pick up, they will charge you an outrageous amount. Their reason will be you require more truck space than what was initially estimated or some other lie. I was given a amount of $4295 by Empire Moving Group, whom I found out later is a broker for Safebound. After the movers picked up the first load of item from my home, I was informed by the driver that he did a re-estimate and the amount would be $12,650 for a move from Florida to Georgia. The move was only 442 miles. The movers had to come to my residence three time, due the company not providing a large enough truck to accommodate my household items. When my items were delivered, the delivery person didn't work for Safebound Moving and Storage. He drove a Pensk Rental Truck and he brought two men to help him that didn't work for the company, The two men either had hangovers from the night before or were drinking alcohol at the time of my delivery. The delivery person was a 3rd Party. The driver told me that he did a bid for my items. He was very rude and unprofessional. These unprofessional movers damaged my new home that was built June 14, 2021 i.e. garage frame overhang, walls - hole in one of the walls, scratched the paint off the walls, damaged door frames, one door was damaged, scratched my laminate floors, many pieces of my furniture i.e. leather recliner stained with white paint, leather damaged by rubbing it against something, a floor length mirror was completely broken, a designer mirror was chipped on the upper corner (this is the mirror for the dresser), 7ft dresser with detachable jewelry box was chipped and dress has scratches on the front base, 6ft (2pc armoire was completely destroyed ( appears to have been dragged on base), 9ft X 16" (6pcs) Entertainment Center (top base and bottom base appears to have been dragged) 18"H designer garden vase was completely destroyed and other miscellaneous item. This company is only concerned about making money and does not care about the consumers need for professional movers to pick up and deliver they're goods the ways the received them. This company "Sucks". Something needs to be done about this it.

STAY AWAY!!!!! This company is a scam!!!! It all started with a great price over the phone. Approximately 3000, which was a very attractive price for our move. So my wife paid the 200 deposit to book this company. Also it should be noted this company scam is also involved with "O Canada Movers and Move me again. All these companies are the same! They get sued and then pop up under another name. Do your homework and do not go through what we went through!! The appointment for them to pick up our stuff was for 2pm. We got a call at 1 pm saying they are running late and will not be there until 5 pm. Another call just before 5 saying they will be there by 7 pm. They showed up at 930 pm!!! This was our second mistake!!! (First one was actually putting a deposit down with this company) There were 3 guys that showed up in an unmarked truck.......two guys could speak a little broken English, one could speak zero English. They proceeded to load all our stuff onto this truck while drinking beer, wearing no masks!!! The truck was loaded by 1230 am!!!!! yes, 1230 AM!!! Thus is when our third mistake came in!!! THE CONTRACT!!! The contract was briefly explained to us on the tailgate of the truck at 1230 am in the morning. They proceeded to say our "weight" was heavier then originally quoted for and there would be an additional fee (but they won't tell you what that fee actually is) they say the accounting department will be in touch! Away they went. we had no idea where our stuff went to, all we got in broken English was "Toronto". Do Not Sign the contract, tell them to unload your property immediately. If they leave with your stuff and no contract it is theft. Call the police!The second you sign that contract it becomes a civil matter and the police won't become involved. A few days later the "accounting department" actually called us and said we owe over $6000.00 , payment needs to be paid in full prior to our property being dispatched for delivery. Fees such as going up 2 stairs, 30 dollars for plastic to wrap a mattress or box spring, extra weight , extra 800 dollars for storage fees and on and on. Total scam. But they have our stuff, they will not tell you where it is and they are very ignorant when you question them on their ethics! So..... we need our stuff and decided we would pay them or they will hold your property hostage and charge you yet again additional fees. So we paid in full so we could receive our property. A week goes by, another week and another week. 1 month after they picked up our stuff it eventually arrived at our new home. Numerous calls to "Maya" was one lie after another. We have 8 recordings of Maya lying in each and everyone of the calls! "Maya" is in sales and sounds convincing and sincere!! don't fall for it, she does not know how to tell the truth and is into this "scam" as much as the animals that will show up to your house. Speaking of that, a month after our property was taken by these crooks, we get a call from Sam , 830 at night, stating our property will be at our new house by 7am the following morning!! Perfect, we are finally going to have our beds , dishes and other things you need to live. "Sam" shows up late of course with one other guy, both look like they slept in a ditch for the night. Do not the website fool you, these people do not wear uniforms and they are the farthest thing from professional movers. Guess what one of the first things "Sam" says to us. If we want the property brought into the house then we will need to pay an additional 150 dollars, cash or etransfer. I told "Sam" he is not getting another dime from us, in fact I don't want you in our new home, so they dropped our property at the end of the driveway! My wife and I took it from there and actually did it faster and more efficient then these pathetic morons! So at the end, guess what, another contract to sign saying we received our property. I told "Sam" that I am not signing anything on the advice from our civil lawyer. Sam politely told me to F off, snatched the contract from my hand and waddled back to the truck. These people will go bankrupt and jump up under another name. If you are moving do you homework folks, so you don't go through what we did. Looking back, we have made alot of mistakes trusting these animals. It will never happen again with anyone we know. I hope this helps all the other innocent trusting people out there to make an informed decision before hiring MOVE ME AGAIN, SAFE BOUND MOVING and or O Canada movers. There are other companies affiliated as well.

This is my experience with across state moving and the experience was horrible. My initial quote based on a video walk through ended up being 100% higher. My contents upon arrival had 80% of the boxes and strong totes damaged, not to mention one of my boxes was repacked using someone else's with their name and address on it. And then the bait and switch discussions, I must have had five different people contact me via cell phone, first names only throughout the process - my stuff left NY went to Boston, arrived earlier than the agreed upon date, went to an unknown storage location to finally arrive five days later damaged. There definitely needs to be more accountability and governance for moving companies. SafeBound responsiveness to my concerns is horrible, and I know I cannot be the only one. Terrible experience.

Worst moving company we've ever experienced. They did a cross-country move via a brokered arrangement (which we did not know about ahead of time, red flag). Although conducted a FaceTime quote to see entire apartment, and we selected this company based on that quote, they arrived 6pm (!) on the night before move-out and demanded a 150% increase on price based on information that should have already been known (number of rooms/items) -- what choice do you have under that sort of duress? Furthermore, charged over $1500 in packing supplies and some new extra distance fee, all things that were already known at the time of quote -- just bonkers. Workers bothered entire apartment complex being loud and mask-less until 3am. Workers were in terrible condition, none brought water or food and seemed to have not slept for days. Other end, same story - zero professionalism (dozens of stories not enough time to share them all), nobody brought even a utility knife to unbox or unwrap and had to borrow from us (and we had to ask where it was before they left, it was about to be stolen), they left mounds of plastic strewn around and didn't even finish unpacking before leaving. Many items scratched and dinged. Extremely expensive, not worth it at all, better off just putting up an ad on Craigslist. SCAM in every sense. We did not even directly contract with the actual moving company that we worked with (ProSmart) and were passed off to them by Safebound Moving & Storage unbeknownst to us. Extremely unethical companies, both of them. Only hope is even just one person that can read and benefit from this and avoid any business to a terrible organization.
