Gross Incompetence around delivery times and communication
In short, ordered Pottery Barn dresser. Delivery scheduled, Ryder moved the time slots around a bit but was not a huge deal. They ultimately scheduled for the evening. The time slot was missed and then we get a phone call from a recording that we need to reschedule - no explanation. We have zero confidence in their ability to deliver and or honor any type of time slot. There are better logistics companies and its unfortunate that pottery barn and other large retailers use them. Would avoid if possible

Very poor experience with Ryder
Our Thuma order carried out by Ryder was cancelled last minute due to the driver timing out, and we weren't able to reschedule for a week. Then, on the new day of delivery, we were told several conflicting and confusing things by the Ryder dispatchers, including: that our driver was late, that the package was never loaded on the truck, and that our package was damaged. Ryder customer service representatives were uniformly unhelpful, dismissive, and condescending when we tried to understand what was going on. Going forward, I would not order from another company that uses Ryder for their "white glove" deliveries and I am disappointed that Thuma does so.

Our furniture delivery was canceled…
Our furniture delivery was canceled because of over scheduling. Then on the day it was supposed to be delivered, it was not put on the truck. This was a very expensive order. Disappointed that Pottery Barn used this company for delivery.

Unreliable
Unreliable with refunds and packages. My package was wrong. After I request a refund they explained how they would cover the shipping cost, as soon as I sent them the receipt for the shipping they said "we do not cover shipping costs". I wouldn't have returned the package if I wasn't getting a postage refund as the postage was almost the same amount of money as the product.
I've been in contact with the over email and they are just so unreliable and are taking days to respond. Would not buy from them again or through the range!

This company has to be the worst…
This company has to be the worst company I have dealt with. I still don’t have my table after a month. I have asked them to schedule after 430, they say they will and then they make it earlier. They even told me I will get charged if I’m not home. I’m so disappointed in Pottery Barn for using thrm

Ryder Let Down a Longstanding Small-Business Customer
I purchased my Sprinter van and a Premium 2000+ extended warranty through Ryder. Unfortunately, my experience with Ryder’s Fulton Industrial location has caused me to lose confidence in the company.
My van had a service appointment on December 23, 2024, and was not released until approximately February 20, 2025—about 60 calendar days later. Throughout that period, I received inconsistent information about the arrival of parts and when repairs would be completed. At one point, I was told the parts had arrived, only to learn later that this information was incorrect and there was no estimated arrival date.
The extended downtime disrupted my business and forced me to rent another vehicle for approximately $125 per day, plus mileage. Despite buying both the van and its warranty from Ryder, I was not offered a complimentary or meaningfully discounted rental. I also reserved a replacement van through Ryder, only to learn that the location had not confirmed availability and did not have one for me.
The repair estimate was $3,804.16, but the Premium 2000+ warranty approved only $899.51. I was responsible for more than 69% of the repair cost. The warranty was presented to me during the sale as coverage under which I would generally pay a deductible. Paying nearly $2,905 was nothing like the protection I believed I was purchasing. Had the limitations been explained accurately, I could have saved the warranty premium for future repairs.
I am also missing a bottle of Jimmy Choo cologne that my wife gave me for Christmas and my wedding ring from our 2010 wedding. I had kept these items in the van and thoroughly searched my home for them. When the van was returned, I found candy wrappers inside that were not mine, which made me concerned that someone had been spending time in or using the vehicle. I cannot say who removed the missing property, but I believe Ryder should investigate what happened while the van was in its possession.
Additionally, Ryder had my company’s Certificate of Insurance on file, yet I was still charged for Ryder’s insurance on my last rental.
I was once a loyal Ryder customer who regularly encouraged others entering the transportation industry to consider Ryder’s used inventory because of its maintenance schedules and service records. I now use Enterprise whenever possible and turn to Ryder mainly when my options are limited.
Small businesses are frequently underserved, even though they offer tremendous growth potential and often place the greatest value on quality service and attentive business relationships. Ryder’s handling of my account made me feel as though my company did not matter because it was not a high-revenue account.
I understand that this review may not gain traction or resonate with Ryder, but I felt obligated to share my experience with the people who may be able to create change and with other small-business owners considering doing business with Ryder. I hope Ryder investigates the missing property, explains the excessive service delay, reviews how the warranty was represented, refunds the improper insurance charge, and provides meaningful compensation for the rental expenses, loss of use, and business disruption I experienced.

no customer support at all.
no customer support at all.

Worst Customer Service EVER
I have been disputing a bill for days now. To say I am frustrated is an understatement. They are ignoring a rental quote and signed rental agreement that I have emailed them several times, they refusing to honor the price on those documents. This isn't the first time we have had issues with Ryder but this has been the absolute worst customer service they have EVER provided. It shouldn't be this hard. I am seriously looking into their competition at this point. I am tired of arguing with them about stupid stuff. On top of all this they won't change my company from state renter to national renter even though we have rented in multiple states. They just keep creating new account numbers in each state further muddying the waters. I really feel like this company doesn't care about it's customers at all and that's simply unacceptable. I highly recommend looking at Ryder's competition (even if they charge more) because this nonsense simply isn't worth it.
