Thank you for your feedback. We sell OEM parts exclusively, and this valve is the correct OEM part number for the Aqua Magic Style II and Residence toilet models. This is a very commonly sold valve, and have never had reports of fitment issues. Based on that, the most likely explanations are that the toilet is a different model than the two this valve is designed for, or that there was an issue during installation. We were not contacted before this review was posted. Had we heard from you, we would have gladly helped confirm your exact toilet model and walked through installation to make sure you got the right part and a successful fit. We're sorry this order didn't work out and understand how frustrating that experience was. Before your purchase, we spent considerable time by phone and email helping troubleshoot your broken toilet and discussing the best replacement options. During those conversations, we explained that this toilet had been discontinued and that the remaining inventory at the manufacturer was extremely limited. We also let you know that the order would be placed directly with the manufacturer and that we were "crossing our fingers" they still had one available. Special-order items like this are one of the most difficult situations we deal with because the inventory is controlled entirely by the manufacturer. We don't have visibility into their real-time stock levels, and we only know the status once they process the order. Unfortunately, because your order was placed immediately before the Labor Day holiday weekend, the manufacturer did not notify us until after the holiday that they had sold out and could no longer fulfill the order. As soon as we received that information, we notified you and processed your refund. If the refund has not yet appeared on your account, please note that while we process refunds immediately, it can take several business days for your bank or credit card company to post the credit to your account. As a small family-owned business, we pride ourselves on providing the personalized support and product knowledge that larger retailers often cannot. While special-order availability is ultimately determined by the manufacturer, we always do our best to communicate inventory risks in advance, provide honest expectations, and keep our customers informed every step of the way.
