I received the wrong motor for my Carefree of Co. Apex Awning, but the right motor. Confused, i will explain. My Apex was made in 2008 but Carefree redesigned the Apex in 2015 making the tub and motor 1" larger. The new motor will not fit into the head-rail roller tub. I paid $1300 dollars for the motor and Carefree is not sure what to do. I am hoping RV Parts Country will take the motor back. RV Parts Country did not tell me the motor would not fit. Everything else about RV Parts is great.

I was confused on whether this unit ran off gas or electric because it said propane but further down in the description it talked about electric. I messaged the company to find out and the person who answered didn’t answer my question, he only apologized for it being confusing. I asked again and he told me it ran off propane. After watching a bunch of YouTube videos I learned that the ignition runs off DC and the unit heats from gas but that they also make a series that runs off propane and AC. It would have been nice to have this explained to me by customer service when I asked. When I received the unit it was dented in the bottom left corner and very difficult to fit the door back on front also leaving a large gap between the frame and the outside wall of the rv. I was able to fill it with caulk but it didn’t form a seal with the butle tape I applied underneath the frame. I finally got everything working after a lot of troubleshooting do to it being my first experience installing a water heater. Directions were a bit confusing. I also called costumer service and was hung up on by the automated system twice. Can’t say much positive about customer service but I can finally take a hot shower!

The part arrived in a timely manner but the keyhole on bottom fell out as soon as I put key in it. Instaledl new doorhandle anyway after putting key socket back into handle an it has worked fine.

No notice my order was shipping or shipped. It showed up pretty fast but no notice it was coming.

Delivery was very fast. Although my airconditioner unit was damaged. I took pictures of my item and will call or email them monday
