I talk to the owner's son, Bobby. I told him what I had and he said he Quoted me. Prices like a $1000 for these brand new torches that I have from the 2010 Olympic games and said he'll send me a contract and the forms that I need tdesign. Then you never got back to me and then you got back to me today. After I sent him an email saying that you know I really need some money. That's why I've been you know. Inquiring and he had the nerve to let it off. For me $,300 for the torches. You said you'd give me a 1004 and a $1000 for these 2 torches that are very limited and are being placed at $5000. Just because I'm in a bad situation. I'm trying to sell my uncle stuff. And he low balls that s*** out of me. He is a piece of s*** Be careful if you're gonna be dealing with this guy. Be careful, complete, loser.

I believe this is a scam site
I believe this is a scam site. I bid on an autographed album. I set my future bids to my maximum price. I was "winning" up until close to the end. Then suddenly, I was outbid and I received an email asking if I wanted to bid again. I did not reply because I was not overpaying that much for the item. Normally I would not think any of it. but 2 months later they were auctioning off the SAME exact item. So, they never even sold this item the time I was bidding on it. How do I know it was the same item that I was bidding on 2 months earlier??? Because there was a slight crease in the cover of the album. I am 100 percent sure it was the exact item that I "lost the bidding " on 2 months earlier. I had a picture of the one I was bidding on and zoomed in and compared the 2 album covers and the crease or bend in the cover. They were an EXACT match. I feel this site lies to drive up the price even though they will collect a high premium percentage on the winning bid

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and we're sorry the auction was frustrating and confusing. What you experienced is actually a standard part of how reserve auctions work, so we'd like to explain.
Many of our lots carry a reserve: a confidential minimum price agreed in advance with the item's consignor. If bidding doesn't reach that reserve, we're contractually prohibited from selling the item, and it goes unsold, or "passes." Because your maximum bid was below the reserve, the album didn't sell, which is why you saw yourself outbid near the close.
Unsold lots are routinely re-offered in a later sale. That's why the same album, with the same crease, reappeared two months later. It was never sold during your auction, and nothing about it was misrepresented.
We take accusations like this seriously. We've built our reputation over 50 years, and this review misrepresents a standard business practice as something improper. We understand how it could be misread that way, and we're sorry for the confusion and frustration it caused. Next time, please reach out to us directly and I'll gladly walk you through exactly what happened.

A Very Reputable Auction House
I have been bidding on signed autographs from RR Auctions for the past 15 years. I have been very happy with my acquisitions and the customer service provided by the company. All of my items shipped were exactly as described in the online auction summaries.
I would highly recommend this auction house to anyone interested in acquiring high quality and authentic autographs.

Very difficult to consign with
I tried to consign about $10000 worth of stuff with them which I have seen sold results for in the past of my exact items on their site and the experts rejected my items. Not all of us are millionaires RRauction. Funny thing is I had thousands and thousands of dollars of more stuff on the way. I am constantly buying. I will look for someone else.

Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry for the disappointing results when your items were submitted to third-party authentication. We genuinely wish they had passed, because selling authentic material is exactly the business we're in.
Our conservative standard actually protects you. When we sell an item, we stand behind its authenticity, so if a winning bidder later submits it for third-party review and it doesn't pass, we're obligated to refund the sale, and that cost falls back on the consignor. Declining items that don't clear independent review up front shields you from that risk. It's always better to be conservative. We'd welcome the chance to look at your other material. Please reach out to us directly and we'll be glad to help.

RR Auction has stolen Ton Petty memorabilia
The family of Tom Petty is pursuing swift legal action against RR Auction house. The house has announced a current auction of personal property of Petty’s that the entire family firmly believes has been outright stolen from a secured archive based on prior knowledge, staff observations and documentation. The family is pursuing all available legal action for the immediate return of these items, and they ask that fans and collectors refrain from participating in this auction until the matter is settled to avoid getting further involved in this legal action.
“We believe RR Auction, headquartered in Boston, is offering stolen Tom Petty memorabilia with a completely false provenance inaccurate to fact and in complete denial of clear evidence they have been presented. They will not disclose the cosigner who has provided these items or how they were acquired. But they are clearly stolen, there is no other word for it.”
The missing articles include the personal items and items from the professional career of their beloved Tom Petty —all with an established provenance in the Petty family’s secure storage —which include jackets, hats, vests, boots, shirts, shoes, autographed items and recent exclusive limited editions easily traced back to family members and more. “These items have irreplaceable sentimental and educational value for the family and legacy of Tom Petty and we look forward to their safe return.”

As you may have seen in our joint statement from December 8,2023 the Tom Petty Archives and RR Auction have amicably resolved all differences regarding the Tom Petty items from our event this past May.

Exceptional folks making life easy for the collector!
I have had the absolute privilege of working with this company for 25 years and can say without any reservation, they are the absolute best in the industry. In my quest for vintage signed Hollywood material they are the gold standard( not to mention any of the signed material categories they feature). They strive for perfection and they most certainly achieve the highest level of that goal. My greatest regret is not finding this exceptional company sooner during the first 5 years of my 30 year Hollywood journey.Hats off to beautiful folks who do a beautiful job ! Your level of integrity is unmatched in the industry and I feel very proud and privileged to know each and every one of you. Thanks for all the joy you have added to my life. Your very satisfied customer and grateful friend David Huss

Buy with confidence
Buy with confidence. Dont usually write reviews but I have been buying autographs from auctions for years and RR is one of the few auctions where their customer service is really top notch, - they actually care about their customers. They also have a hugh number of superb and authentic autographs and all members of staff whom I have dealt with are charming (and you cant say that for the staff in most auction houses nowadays ). At least you know when you buy from RR auction your prized autograph will be authentic. what more could you want from an auction house? Autograph authenticity and outstanding customer service
