Sean and the team have changed my way of thinking when it comes to book publishing but also business mindset! Mindblowing! Strongly recommended!

I have felt that I'm someone who can benefit from coaching. I also want to take my Amazon KDP efforts seriously and to a much higher level. I was ready to pull the trigger, and my consultation got cancelled, I thought it was an accident so I tried to reschedule. Cancelled again and when I inquired, the person who was supposedly my contact, Jacob Rothenberg, emailed me, talked down to me like I was a child, stated the cost of the program (I was aware, ready to purchase) and suggested I go find a job. I'm 57 years old and found this to be the most unprofessional response to a customer I've ever experienced. I suggest finding other ways to educate yourself on Amazon KDP than this, there are cheaper coaches out there who will ultimately teach you more, and are infinitely more professional in their conduct.

Hi Shasta, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear about your experience, and I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. After reviewing the situation and reading through the email conversation with Jacob, it seems the call was canceled because your application mentioned being unemployed with no cash flow. Since our program is $1,997, and we recommend having some additional funds to produce and market your books to fully leverage our strategies, Jacob made the assumption that the program might not be the best fit for you at this time. However, you mentioned in your review that you were ready to join even after knowing the price, and I apologize that you weren’t given the option to move forward. You should have at least had the opportunity to decide for yourself, and we regret that this wasn’t handled differently. Regarding the suggestion to "go find a job," I understand how that might have come across, and I’m sorry if it felt dismissive. What Jacob intended to convey was that, since building a sustainable publishing business requires some upfront investment, finding traditional employment could be a helpful way to generate cash flow and reinvest in your publishing journey more quickly. We do sometimes cancel calls when applicants indicate they have no resources to invest, as the last thing we want is to sell our program to someone who might end up in a difficult financial situation. But in your case, we could have communicated this more thoughtfully and offered the option to proceed with a call if you were still interested after understanding the full context. I’m truly sorry again for the negative experience you had, and I appreciate your honesty. We’ll use this feedback to improve our communication so we can better serve potential students moving forward. Best, Sean

I'll start by saying this: So I think that Sean and his team are legit, along with his methods. That being said, I think the $97 price tag of "7-Day Book Challenge" for less than a dozen videos (of less than 2 hours of length) and a handful of AI prompts that you can find online for free really doesn't justify the price. (And how would I have known what it came with until I purchased it?) Also, I have a feeling that the company will probably respond, and tout their "facebook community" but what value do I gain from watching a bunch of posts by people who also don't know what they're doing? And when I confirmed with support about the lack of content for the price, they simply offered me higher priced offers, but why would I buy a high ticket coaching or DFY package if I didn't find value in the low priced one? I'll end by saying this: I do think the course is "legit," and can help someone get started with a simple book. However, I think it's overpriced for the amount of content you receive.

Hi Coty, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I rally appreciate it. I understand your perspective. While this is the first lower rating we’ve received for the 7-Day Challenge (all other reviews have been 4 or 5 stars), I recognize that everyone evaluates value differently, and I respect your opinion if you found the cost didn’t meet your expectations of value. As the name suggests, this is designed as a "challenge" rather than a comprehensive "course," with the primary goal of helping participants overcome fear and writer's block to publish their first book. If you’re already experienced with KDP and actively publishing, the challenge may not align with your current stage. With that being said, your feedback is valuable and we’ll review how we communicate the challenge’s purpose and ideal audience to ensure expectations are clear moving forward. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. Best, Sean

The program is comprehensive in nature and has implemented a very helpful coaching component. The weekly Q&A sessions are also beneficial. It takes commitment on the student's part to achieve his/her desired goals. I remain optimistic but have not achieved a significant change in book sales. However, I am relatively new to the program.

Excellent information and support, and coaching. I had studied publishing a lot and am a published author, but I have learned so much from Sean and his team. My first KDP book is about to published, but they have already saved me time and kept me from making newbie errors.

I really appreciate the instructor's way of thinking and explaining things: super logical! I need details and he gives them. Recently I spoke to a very successful coach from this program and not only was he extremely informative, he was also very ENCOURAGING...which is something I appreciated so much.
