I would be happy to edit this review if my last remaining settlement offer is approved after 4 previous attempts to do so have failed.

5 stars to customer service who are a great help every time and 3 stars max to the dept. appointed to handling the debt collectors. Communication and problem solving is key. I admit this is my own doing or why would I have reached out to royal legal in the first place. With that being said I recently got served (which I new was a probability) by a creditor that I owed $2,500. I had $1,900ish banked at the time with Global Holdings and had payment of $388.00 left to close out 1 collector. Could royal legal have paused on that collector and offered the collector suing me what was banked or at the least swiftly turned there attention to them once I made them aware? I have $1,500ish banked now that they can offer up and make monthly payments to. Maybe its simple stupid. Its so simple its stupid and cant be done that way, I get it but hey, at least tell me what's going on so I don't plunge into more debt or have to go to court. After sending in my subpoena I heard nothing from royal or my appointed lawyer. when I did call 10 days later I was told someone would reach out to me. No one did, my date had arrived to answer the court and my collectors, I had no idea how to answer. I had to google it just to get examples lol I've never been arrested or anything like that. So I spoke with the county clerk and asked the court and collectors for a continuance until I could get proper representation from royal legal. I told royal legal what happened and then a day or 2 later they appointed me a different lawyer. I reached out to them only to find out that they may be reaching an agreement but haven't heard anything since 1-27-21 from anyone. I just want to be better informed, I never get a call with an update. Keep me in the loop and let me know if there's something else I can do to assist other than give more money.

Took three time calling to get through, 45 min on hold only to get dropped twice. Helper was nice but still waiting on welcome package almost a moth later.

I'm getting a little skeptical about this organization. It seems that things are moving at a snails pace, yet the creditors are contacting me all of the time about settling the account. I'm concerned about the fees that keep being added to my accounts. I wonder if I should just negotiate with the creditors myself and move this along. Anyone have any input?

I was not happy about finding debts credited to my account that were not mine. I hope this will be taken care of quickly.

Kevin C was helpful today - my bad for calling after the negotiators had left. Overall our experience with Royal Legal Group has been frustrating at best. I don’t know if it is just our situation, however, three of our four accounts that have been negotiated so far have ended up in legal action, requiring us to pay more money in and often pay for legal fees as well. We had to come up with 2 additional payments of $800 and one additional payment of $600 on top of the $554.32 that we pay monthly. So for April, May and June, our payments in will have totaled $3,862.96!! We have one more account to begin negotiating. I’m praying that this account will be negotiated without going to litigation.

Still pretty new to the group. I've been trying to call in for my monthly meeting. I am out in hold, being told (electronically) that I am caller one. 45 min later, I am still in hold. I have tried leaving my number, according to their prompt that a representative will call me back later. That was three days ago. I called again today and was in hold for an hour before I gave up. I'm starting to get a little leery. I found a local number and called "my" attorney directly. He wasn't in the office and I left a voice mail. Time will tell....
