Hit or Miss
I’ve used three different sitters from Rover. 1 showed up for a 30 minute visit and only stayed for 7 minutes. Another was supposed to house sit for me and consistently left my dogs alone for 10+ hours. Both of these girls knew I had cameras before booking. The third has been great (so far). Keep in mind that a lot of sitters are college students just wanting some cash on the side and may not provide the most professional service. I suggest a meet and greet and a solid back up plan just in case!

Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. For every Rover stay we highly recommend owners to meet with their service providers before a stay begins, both for interviewing purposes to ensure the sitter is qualified to meet your criteria and giving them the tools and information they need to succeed while caring for your animals. If you haven't already, we also highly encourage you to leave a review of your bookings to help prevent others from sharing the same experience. Regards, Spencer D.
