Rover does well with keeping you informed on the sitter visit.

Overall easy to use. People who are currently not pet sitting, boarding etc. should not come up on the search. Service times I contacted a person and they told me they had moved to another area or taking a break for a while.

It works relatively well but a couple potential sitters seemed to have less experience than what was stated on the website.

I just feel that if its my first time leaving my dog should have have been more attentive to a report on a daily. I'm asking how she is doing a you say "fine" or "she went outside & played w/my dogs". My thing is if you are providing a report about someone love one that is worried about her first time. I think more of a report could've been given.

Over all it was great . But I find Rover appt not very user friendly for occasional user. Customer service was friendly and helpful.

After trying a different app (one dedicated to cat sitting) and getting no response from any of the sitters I contacted (over several weeks) I decided to give Rover a shot and I'm so glad I did. I was able to easily find a sitter with a great profile and availability for the dates I needed, and more importantly she actually responded (and within minutes too) and confirmed that she could sit for us. Booking was easy, and although I do think having to pay up front would put some people off, especially if you're booking very far in advance, I didn't mind as it wasn't a huge amount for the 6 drop-in visits we booked. Communication with the sitter was easy through the app and we were able to easily arrange a meet and greet, where the sitter was able to meet the cats and we were able to ask any questions. This really gave peace of mind that we were leaving not only our pets but our house key in good hands. After each visit the sitter left great notes and photos on the Rover card so we were able to see not only that the visits were being done as scheduled, but get some insight into how the cats were doing, which again gave great peace of mind while we were away. Everything was done as scheduled and the sitter was great with the cats so we were able to enjoy our few days away without worrying if the cats were OK. The only disappointing thing is that I had planned on leaving a tip for the sitter as she did a great job, but it turns out that this isn't an option in the UK for some bizarre reason. All I could do was leave a review for her, which just doesn't show appreciation like a tip would have, so that was quite frustrating to be honest. All in all Rover is a great app and I'll definitely be using it again when I need a cat sitter, but they really need to sort out the tipping option for the UK.

The site is great, signing into the site is still an issue. It kept telling me the phone number was already in use. But I couldn't find a way unsubscribe than subscribe again. I had to use my sisters number to sign in anew. I spent a lot of time trying to sign in with you guys because my dog really likes Leah.

Overall Rover was easy to use but I wish while searching for a sitter I could sort by cost, reviews, and distance.
