Our Cat Didn't Want To Leave
Because we were moving, we needed a place for our cat in both towns and on short notice. In each location we found nice homes with experienced caregivers. Exceeded our expectations.

Be clear on your site that you don’t vet them and this people advertising.
I gave you 3 stars because so far the sitters have been great, but I read that you don’t actually vet the people on your site. Thank you for setting me straight on your venting process as it was important to me especially a background check! I appreciate this site to be able to find sitters in my neighborhood.

While sitters on Rover are independent contractors and not employed directly by Rover, every sitter profile is manually reviewed by the Rover sitter team. We evaluate each profile to determine whether it meets our unique set of quality standards. If we decide the sitter or dog walker is a good fit for Rover, we’ll approve their profile, and they can then list pet care services on the site. Additionally, all sitters listed on Rover have passed a background check as part of our commitment to safety. Finding sitters and dog walkers who are the right fit for Rover is something we take very seriously. We do everything we can to be thorough the first time around, and for that reason, the approval decision is final and cannot be appealed. Rover is my Dogsitter!
Easy to use website providing many choices for Dogsitter’s. Communication is then directly between owner and sitter. My chosen sitter was very professional and took excellent care of my dogs, as well as my home.

I was relieved when I found this service online. I had my daughters wedding to attend out of town and wasn't able to take my Bella. The sitter was local and the reviews were great. I was still nervous because I didn't want my girl to feel abandoned. The photo and text updates were great and alleviated my worries. I would absolutely use this service in the future.

Dana was amazing with Arlo
Dana was amazing with Arlo! It was nice not to worry about our big fur baby while vacationing. She kept us up to date frequently and went over and beyond treating our Arlo like her own. It was my first time using Rover and definitely not my last. Thank you Dana and Rover!
