I love the experience with the dog sitter, but what I do not understand is when I rebook with the very same sitter the rates has gone up $20 per nigh.I am all for people getting pay increases but I paid 55 last weekend and went to rebook for October and now they want $75 a night that’s a 36% increase. I guess my stellar review she asked for made her reaccess her worth.

Terrible app with unreliable humans on the app. I’ve used rover twice now and both experiences have been bad. First time the sitter took my money and never showed up. Blocked me and everything so there was no way for me to get my money back. I reached out to rover in regards to this scammer - rover did nothing but make sure I cannot book him again. I bet he is still out there scamming dog owners. His name is Richard Perez and has a girlfriend named Stephany Perez (I know looks like wrong spelling but it’s not). Second time I book first booking goes fine then I rebooked the same guy whom confirmed three times. He calls out 2 hrs before he was supposed to start leaving me to call out my job and miss work and pay because I cannot leave my dog alone for that many hrs. I asked rover for help and last min coverage they were only able to apply a little credit to account without refunding me. I hate how Rover handles customers issues as I am not satisfied or happy with any of the people you have on the app or the representatives poor solutions. Rover have let me down yet again. I made it my business to shout it out on social media and steer my friends and family away from such an unreliable app with high prices and terrible customer service. I look forward to using a better app with real people who show up to this or jobs. And real customer reps who actually help solve your issues. Will never use rover again. Terrible.

My dog got kennel cough I had to take him to er cuz he wouldn’t stop pulling and pooping himself and coughing I felt so bad for him he got this from the rover house and it was first time I ever used rover

J’ai eu une très mauvaise expérience : la pet-sitter a laissé ma fenêtre ouverte alors que j’habite au rez-de-chaussée. Malgré ma demande de la refermer, cela n’a pas été fait. À mon retour, j’ai retrouvé la fenêtre grande ouverte et mon chat à l’extérieur. Je ne peux pas recommander Rover, qui n’assume aucune responsabilité face aux erreurs de ses prestataires.

I think this company needs to do something about vetting people they decide to do business with!

Dommage qu'ils ne vérifient pas un peu mieux les profils des petsitters, il ne suffit pas d'aimer les animaux pour savoir correctement s'en occuper malheureusement.

We had a terrible experience with Amanda. If she is not prepared to take care of a dog, we don’t understand why she offers such a service. She was not directly rude to us, but she repeatedly threatened to take our dog Odin to the pound because, according to her, he “wasn’t behaving” the way she wanted. The worst part is that she kept him locked in the bathroom and even took him away without our authorization. When our friends went to pick him up, they had to wait until she came back. To make matters worse, her husband called us and insulted us in a very disrespectful way. Someone who behaves like this should not be offering pet care services. She does not provide a safe or responsible environment and clearly lacks the patience and preparation required. We absolutely do not recommend her.

I used the app multiple times for dog sitting at my home, it all went wrong when I relied on it for boarding. It's not compliant with regulations around dog boarding and my dog became very ill as a result. Their support was non-existent, very defensive about their guarantee (when money wasn't really the concern) and privacy of their sitters. No support or concern for owner or dog.
