The buck stops with Rover.com! My experience with Whitney in Alamagordo was poor. She gets a one star.

I've already written a review and don't need to do so again I am trying to forget it completely

It started out with a gentleman in manorville I forget his name but he's horrible he was the first one you sent me for doggy daycare you know who he is I don't remember his name cuz I put him out of my thoughts. He argued with me tantalize my dog through the window and then said my dog was too aggressive made me wait an hour on the street with my truck while he was doing something in his driveway I had a 12:15 appointment I was there at 12:05 and I talked to him on the phone he had me go to the wrong driveway three times and I had to back out and dangerous situations with my vehicle because the road is busy and you can't see when you back out of the driveways. And then I got a message from you about Doris also in manorville New York she was wonderful and I wrote a review on her look it up I'm an honest person I'm a businessman I had a job for 30 years and customer service dealing with sick people who sometimes not buy their own fault aren't always in a good mood and for 30 years I never had one customer complaint from a nurse or from a patient I did a good job because that was my job. So now it's to you Rover I hope and I'm almost sure most of your people are just like Doris she was wonderful I'm going to say it again but you have a guy named I think his name was Jeff I'm not sure like I said I blank them out it was the worst experience I ever had dealing with a person that's supposed to be a professional from a well-known company so now it's down to you I will use you again because of Doris and again I'm sure most of you are sitters and walkers and doggie daycare people are wonderful I'm sure they are but you hired a guy to do a job for you like this guy Jeff or Jim whatever his name was like I said I will use you again and when I'm on Long Island on vacation Doris will have my dog thank you very much for hiring people like Doris and I hope you hire more like that and I wish you well with your company I know what it's like to run a business especially in this day and age thank you again no hard feelings but you asked for my honest opinion and I'm going to give it to you thank you have a good day

there is good content and valuable information regarding each of the rover walkers and the website is easy to use and locate information from. However, the walkers information is often inaccurate or not updated. For example, they say they offer a service but when you contact them they say they no longer do, or their calendar isn't updated. I had to contact 9 people before finding someone who's profile information/calendar was actually accurate

The website is not easy to use.

I extended my walk and paid the walker an extra 20 in cash, which was more than I was supposed to pay. He claimed he walked her an hour and she came back hyper and it was obvious he hadn’t walked her. I would be scared to trust again

The per visit pricing showed $20/visit on the sitter's page, but when I went to schedule it showed $50/visit. Your agent's explanation was that I must have selected "extended stay". I didn't do that, and even if I did, there were NO visit options on the sitter's page that had a $50/visit price. I also had sent a screen shot which showed I cleared picked 3 drop in visits, which should have cost $60+fees. Instead, your site showed $150+fees. THEN it took 4 or 5 email exchanged to get someone to override the pricing so that correct amount showed in the invoice. All of this should not have taken so much time and effort.
