First time I ever used Rover.com because I couldn't use my usual kennel. I wanted someone willing to keep my elderly dogs in their home - someone who, in addition to being kind, could handle dispensing medicines and special feeding needs. I was able to find excellent people through the Rover.com site. Close by, big fenced yard, clean roomy house with dogs of their own, good reviews by others ... Very helpful.

I have struggled to find successful dog sitters over the years due to leaning on friends and acquaintances. I have come to the conclusion that individuals who seek employment from a pet sitting service have the passion and patience for animals. I really appreciate the ability in Rover.com to read on the sitter's background and reviews. The meet and greet for first assignment sitters reassures me that the sitter and I are on "the same page". My dogs are truly family members and I have high expectations on their care. I am grateful that more personal trips are now possible based on Rover sitter availability and professionalism!
