When it comes to tips, Sitters receive 100% of their tips on the platform and we highly encourage tipping when your pet receives great care. The cap helps prevent pet parents from mistakenly tipping over their budget, which does occasionally occur. Last-minute cancellations can disrupt a sitter’s schedule and availability, and policies like these ensure the stability of their business. While we’re unable to override a sitter’s policy without their permission, you’re welcome to discuss a potential refund with the sitter.
