There’s a lot of sitters to choose from and Rover collects a lot of useful information.

For the most part I like Rover. What frustrates me is not being able to have a phone number or email address to contact someone when needed.

Easy to book but the constant reminder to book was annoying. Even after booking your app still hounded me in booking on a past (same) reservation that expired.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but I went with 4 because the pet sitter was great. I liked that I could find someone in my area easily. I liked that I could have a meet and greet. I did not like that I had to pay prior to that. I also was not aware until after I got to check-out that there would be an additional fee for multiple pets. It would have been nice if that had been made more clear. I have mixed feelings on the communication method. It's nice to be able to get the messages via text without giving away phone numbers, but they don't always go through in a timely manner.

Scheduling, i.e. time care starts etc was a little confusing during our first-time use. While understanding that Rover has expenses and so adds a fee for users, I think caregivers should be charged less for being a partner with Rover.

Terrific to Find a Quality Sitter. I was nervous to start, since I had never left a pet with anyone that I did not know. I received daily photos which showed me how happy my dogs were. Clearly they were well-cared for.

Would give a 5 star as I have used the service for the stand in dog walking when occasionally work/life event take priorities. Unfortunately when trying their service last year for summer hols, not so great, although availability for my area. They came back saying that they were over booked or couldn’t accommodate a large dog or an other excuse.
