When I finally secured a dog sitter everything was great. Sadly, the first person I reached out to took days to respond with a no. Then I reached out to another sitter who was on board and we had arrange a time to discuss details prior to booking and she booked out from underneath me. In the end, it was all good because we ended up with the perfect situation. The quality of some of the sitters isn't all that professional and was a bit frustrating for a first time user.

Pricy but we found a great sitter through them.

Even though we were cancelled on twice, the person we ended up with was very good at taking care of my cats.

The sitters were excellent. The wording on the dates and times for the sitting needs to better explanation attached to the page For example, time to start and end for last day. Very confusing. Thank you

Brooke was terrific. She was on time and always good natured. My Aussie Mini Doodle Niko clearly enjoyed his walks with her. I am confident in recommending her to anyone who wants a caring conscientious dog walker or sitter.

I rate my individual sitter five stars. It took several tries to find my ideal. Some of the sitters that were initially provided as options were still active sitters for one reason or other. The app also has an artificially brief review period that may not allow for full visibility of sitters that are shown.

My experience with rover is mixed. The dog sitter was outstanding and someone we plan on using from this point forward (hopefully). Unfortunately, I had 3 sitters cancel first (for the same 10 day booking). All three of them would have been great, but dog sitting is a side gig for them, which makes them unreliable. This made the process of finding a dog sitter very stressful. And, rover is the only way we’ve found dog sitters, of which 3 out of 4 who actually watched our dog were great.
