I am pleased I found Rover as I found an excellent boarder for my puppy when we were on holiday recently, but the website and app are tricky to navigate and glitchy. I was trying to make a further booking with the same person and that was tricky although I’ve managed to do it in the end. There are lots of improvements that could be made. I reviewed my boarder and despite writing a decent sized paragraph only a couple of sentences have appeared!

Website difficult to find information I was looking for. Kept being sent back to the same answer, which did not address my concern. No phone number for customer support. Online submittal took two days for answer.

I loved my dog walker and absolutely plan to use her again. Plus, I love that I can see the walking path and the numbers of stops.However, after finalizing the first project, I am so fed up with Rover that I would much prefer to simply find a dog walker on my own. Rover has send MULTIPLE emails to me every single day. Calm down! You’re being so over-eager that you’re chasing me away. And I’m telling you that you’re chasing me away. How many people simply block Rover and never look back. If I work with y’all again, it will only be for the fabulous walker we found and not because of a marketing department that doesn’t understand the basics of communication.

It can be hit-or-miss finding sitters on Rover.com. It is a bit like online dating. Sometimes people say they are interested then back out at the last minute, or keep on texting you keeping you hanging without actually committing. I have had very good sitters and some who did less than the bare minimum. Sometimes you get a good one who is a student, then they have moved away when you want to use them again. The good thing is that I have always found somebody though! The ones who have been the most inconsiderate/flakey have been very young-looking, so I'd suggest looking for older people, at least in their late 20's.
