So far all the Rover people we've used (now one consistent couple for boarding and doggy daycare and just did our first in home week stay for sitting for our two dogs) have been awesome. I am at times confused by the app. Also having also done corporate dog daycare the prices seem a bit more AND Rover pings you to tip......which I think is far more reasonable for the overnight in home sitter, but seems odd for boarding pending the circumstance and price.

I heard about Rover before but was not sure if I should use the service. Well my pup got older and thru Rover, I was able to find the best option for my pup. By reading other pup parents’ reviews, knowing the adopted parents location—it was quite an easy decision to use Rover’s service. I highly recommend it.

My pet sitter is wonderful. The rover app can be a tad confusing and difficult to navigate so I would give the sitter a five and the app a four

We have found some great sitters and dog walkers who help us tremendously with our dog. It's good to be able to see reviews and lots of information about the potential sitters. It is difficult to set a manageable geographic range and to specify other criteria when searching for sitters. Also, we have two people who are trying to coordinate drop off and pick up times with a sitter, but only person is allowed on the account, which makes for unnecessary text or call chains. It should be possible to add a second person on the message chains.

The petsitter, Julia S, did a wonderful job taking care of our pets. However, Rover petsitters charge extra for multiple pets and Rover charges a service fee. Our regular pet sitter charges only per visit and no service charge.

Seems to work well and put us in contact with a great sitter where all worked out well. The system does not seem to take into account a volume or number of pets discount like typically done at doggy daycare centres. That makes it quite expensive for 2 dogs so likely to push people with more than 1 dog to other options

Limited for Special Care Dog(s). Great for 'Normal Dogs'. Rover itself was a convenient and easy-to-use website. The customer service was nice. However, the border we used couldn't care for our old lady who needed diapers and warned us multiple times. They couldn't commit to caring for her after a few hours and commented that her quality of life was insufficient and that we should make the hard decision to put her down. She also remarked on the fact that she was too emotional to care for a dog with seizures, and it would be better for that dog to be put down.
