I love Rover for a great interface for finding sitters. I will request Rover to find more sitters who are good with animals.

I have used once to get a dog/house sitter whilst i was on holiday. There was plenty of available sitters in my area. I opted for Rover over a competitor and their fees to the sitter seemed fairer. I didn't have a great experience with the sitter. There were a few odd messages but my main problem was i returned home to discover damage to a brand new table that was delivered the day before I left. Im sure it was accidental but the sittter chose to lie about the situation. Rover were very helpful and reimbursed me for the table quite quickly. I think it probably worked in my favour that i had evidence the table was brand new helped my case but i was pleased and would use the service again but opt for a different sitter

This was the 2nd time Cindy cared for our three cats. They have a room of their own when there, with a large bird-watching window. We hope we never have to leave town without her being able to care for them, as she is a cat lady extraordinaire. She spent time with them, sent photos daily and gave our calico meds every day--even let her come out and watch TV with them some evenings. All three were calmer and better behaved with one another following their 12-day stay than they normally are at home!

There were many different sitters available, so I had plenty to choose from, which was nice.

Rover makes it easy to find a reliable person to take care of our pets. The sitters are in every area and close by so very nice to find someone who doesn't have to drive far to get to the house.
