On my first time using Rover, I was somewhat skeptical for having a complete stranger at home. Our choice was nice, responsible, and punctual on all her scheduled visits. We are very happy with the service.

Easy to navigate, communicate and search for petgivers. Additional Rover charges are a bit much at $50 just for using their services.

Overall my experience with my pet sitter contracted through Rover was excellent. The Rover site allows for communication, accountability, safety, and trust in the pet sitting experience. My only reason for giving 4 stars opposed to 5 was the lack of my understanding of how much Rover charges for using their service. It might have been disclosed but I missed it so I will give the benefit of my doubt. I will use the service again because I think the service works!

Friendly caregiver for my pet. Very neat, clean and kept me updated throughout the visit.

Absolutely loved the sitter we got. I will say that I was very disappointed in a “ highly rated “ sitter that just quit replying. What kind of professional is this? It worked out but really left a bad taste that their high value people are just inconsiderate

It was great to have people background checked, and to have choices. However, some of the folks who said they do house sitting really don't care to do so.

The app made it very easy for us to find the right housesitter. However, I found all the emails upon my return to be excessive.
