The pet sitters I have actually booked and who have cared for my dog were great. But before those confirmed bookings, I contacted MANY pet sitters whose profiles showed they were available but they replied that they were not, or didn’t reply at all! Several did not even reply. I think sitters like these need to be held accountable. Show a “responds” or “accurate availability” rating on their profiles. It has taken/wasted so much of my time trying to find an available sitter.

Rover.com made it pretty easy to find a good sitter for my pooch

Emily was great! Very comfortable with her. I didn't care for the fee charged because I had to change the schedule, reduced one visit as we came home earlier than planned.

We were able to find Lindsey last minute during the holidays. She was so flexible with our schedule and accommodated our dog who is reactive with other dogs. Payment, reviews, communication was so easy on Rover. We were very happy with our dog sitter and highly recommend her!

The app is too difficult to use! I have repeatedly tried to close out my sitter account yet it continues to default to that account!!- And asking me to update my “availability”. That was FIVE years ago!! I no longer dog sit!! So annoying!!! And it will not allow you to use a profile pic of you with your pet! What?! I think a pet sitting app would be able to allow profile pics with pets included but nope!! And do NOT ask me to TIP!! When I already paid a small fortune for the service as it is!! My business IS THE TIP!! Rover can pay the “tip” thank you!! A measly 10% would only be $50! So If 20% is standard I’m now supposed to pay an EXTRA $100 on the $500 that I already paid?! Yeah…not happening! Get it from f’n Elon musk or Jeff bezos cuz I don’t got money like that!! I’m so over this tipping BS!! If we want to tip we will!! We don’t need to be asked or “reminded” to tip when the service is over!! Ha- Bet whoever reads this is thrilled to pieces that I got an email asking me to leave my review! Well?!- you got it! PS I’m very happy with my sitter so this has nothing to do with her!

I've used Rover a couple of times now. Each of the sitters that spent time with my dog were attentive, caring, and so kind. I will definitely be using them again.

Overall, great service to use. It is a little confusing when entering the start and end times for housesitting, but I was able to discuss that with my sitter and it worked out fine. Would definitely use Rover again for future sitting needs!

I find the numerous messages that are sent confusing at times and frankly over done. When Cassie sent a message I got it in my personal message service. Then Rover.com sends 2 e mails too. There were 2 changes made, 1 less day to start and 1 less day at the end. Between she and I talking, then she had to make changes in the system of course. Causing Rover to then send several e mails also. Overdone.
