I loved my dog walker but the app
I loved my dog walker. The site itself is where I had issue and the app. There are not enough options when filtering. For example I have a diabetic dog. I'd love to be able to search filtering who had injected medication experience. Also would love to be able to contact potential walkers without having to request a date. For example some people arnt experienced with a dog reactive dog. Would love to get their experience response before asking for a date. As a responsible dog owner it is our job to find the right fit for our individual pets and to make sure that the person taking our dog is prepared for whatever that dog does. Please please make these options on the app ❤

Confusing UI / unclear services
The app is confusing. I get alerts telling me to rate my dog walker before the walk has occurred. I can’t change the time of a scheduled walk the same day. There are unclear definitions of services and I can’t figure out the difference between pet sitting in your own home vs hiring a dog walker to come several times. That is if I select that service, the profile of the dog walker is about dog walking and not clear if they even do the service I want. I use it for now but I’m frustrated.

No phone contact to rover…
Only reason I'm writing this is because they do not have a phone number. If theirs a money issue or anything like that you can't physically talk to anyone.

I try to be very careful when I use Rover
Some sitters/dog walkers are very reliable but most of them are just there to make quick money and aren’t reliable. Many people don’t even have decency to respond at all when our request doesn’t meet their availability/needs. And most of those don’t even have any experience whatsoever. I have seen and heard about horrible walkers and sitters from Rover so I try to be very careful when I use Rover.

I contacted a pet sitter and 3 days…
I contacted a pet sitter and 3 days later still no response. Very disappointing because apparently they do not answer back at least to say no or something. Will never use them again.. Sad and disappointed.. Do better...

Satisfied one out of the three times I have tried…
One out of the three times I have tried to use the service, the person has been reliable. The individual reviews on the app don’t really seem to matter. I was so disappointed, this app had such great potential.

Not much action
Two stars because the app is easy to use and I am hearing good things about it from acquaintances. But I have only received 3 real requests over a 1 year period... Hopefully I can change my review once the demand increases.

Meet And Greet No Show!
I scheduled a meet and greet with a girl name Brittany D. on rover and she didn’t show up! She also never responded to any messages the day of the meet and greet to explain why she never showed up. She is in the Charlotte, NC area. Do not book her!
