Annoying that I can’t free text and ask a a general question, such as “Is anyone free for an hour today?” I have to specify a start and end time.

Overall it is a reliable and great service for pet owners, the app and the follow ups are really great. But as someone who use Rover both as a pet owner and someone who offer pet sitting, I think it is not fair to deduct 20% from the pet sitter as service fee and 10 % of the amount from the Pet ownder. I understand that there are fees included but sometimes you are basically earning too low.

when searching for sitters more than half who show they are available for selected dates, respond later they are not available. the process is long and annoying

Only three because Rover was over charging me for our first Dog walker. I had Olivia on “repeat” because we had her booked for about 2 weeks. And then Olivia went back to college and her calendar was blocked off. But Rover kept charging me. I now have a my Credit Card Company disputing the charges. This was my first experience with using Rover and it was not a positive one. I would say that Rover needs to be more user friendly and the instructions for using the website need to be clearer for different functionalities.

It is a very slow moving app, takes awhile for things to load or change in real time. It also feels underdeveloped and not very intuitive. I appreciate its services but the app could really improve

The emails I get on a daily from Rover is out of hand. I think it's a good company, and I do understand that Rover wants to make sure people are happy with the service that a 3rd party has provided. I do not need a daily email pushing the service.
