The fact that you can’t delete any emails is incredibly annoying. It seems like an easy fix but not one Rover is interested in making.

La piattaforma offre tanti profili, dove le schede non sempre mi sembrano verificate. La maggior difficoltà è avere un primo contatto senza per forza dover effettuare una prenotazione per capire se quella è la persona giusta e soprattutto se gli orari e le necessità possono essere compatibili. Migliorare la comunicazione tra cliente e aspirante dog-sitter. Tutto ciò anche perché il servizio mi sembra abbastanza caro (da entrambi le parti viene presa una notevole provvigione complessivamente (tra cliente e dog -sitter) pari a un po' meno del 40% dichiarando che c'è un'assicurazione annessa

I loved my sitter. She treated my little GF amazingly. Jessica deserves 10 stars for her efforts. I think Rover itself though has some flaws. Their fees are high and they don't monitor to make sure people represent their availabilty properly. Too many times people show as available and then they say they are not. Or they want fees to housesit but will not be there for almost the whole day - what the hell??? I also feel the site would be better if I put the days and times I need someone and then people apply.

I always liked the service, but now that Rover has added a 10% surcharge to all stays, my opinion is more negative.

Rover Services fees help us support our community of Pet Parents and Pet Care Providers. Pet sitters and dog walkers are the cornerstones of our business. Without their passion, hard work, and devotion to providing amazing pet care, we wouldn't be here. We're here to provide ongoing support and to help each individual grow their business—and we’re in it for the long haul. These fees help us do that, along with facilitating Rover’s customer support, 24/7 trust and safety coverage, and important site maintenance and product improvements. They also help cover benefits for sitters, including the costs of processing payments and ongoing promotion of sitters on Rover. In short, these fees help us build our business so we can keep on building theirs.

Rover.com is a good source for locating pet sitters however the platform is not intutive or particularly user friendly. The platform appears geared to recurring visits and does not handle coverage for a vacation / business trip well - it assumes the booked days will repeat in the future. The bookings run from Monday to Sunday so booking a Sunday through Friday service required two different bookings - one for Sunday and one for Monday-Friday.

Simple to use website. All correspondence with a sitter goes through Rover. Updates and communication from the company are well performed. Perhaps somewhat overpriced.
