I joined on March 20, and less than a week later a new Tier Rate was introduced. This significant change was never disclosed when I signed up. The rate is unrealistically high and feels especially unfair for new members. Had I been informed in advance, I would never have subscribed and paid an activation fee. Update: After reviewing Rover’s Terms of Service, I found that this pilot program is listed as applying only to specific cities, and I do not reside in any of the cities mentioned. This raises serious concerns that Rover is not following its own contractual terms. I have formally denied permission to be added to this program through customer service. I was promised an update within 24–72 hours, no update followed. Update April 3: After a week of trying to resolve this with customer service, they still refuse to provide the requested information or documentation regarding this change, which raises serious concerns about transparency and their handling of customer agreements.

Our Rover home had asked us after booking if it would be okay to book another dog with our two. We said we preferred she have only our dogs and she assured us she wouldn’t have any other dogs staying during our dogs stay. When we arrived at drop off, there was a dog locked in the basement barking. After questioning her, she admitted it was the dog she said she wouldn’t be watching that was hidden in the basement, and she told us it would be locked downstairs the entire time our dogs stayed with her. We were extremely concerned that our dogs may also be locked up to separate from other dogs. We scheduled to drop our dogs off at 7pm and we were planning to leave at 5am the next morning. My husband and I hesitantly left our dogs but were super uncomfortable. We went back within 20 minutes to pick them up, knowing we may need to cancel our trip. We dropped off at 7pm and picked up by 8pm. Our dogs are family and we were uncomfortable knowing our rover home lied to us. In addition, her home was very dirty during drop off (poop and pee all over). While we understand that accidents happen, we were concerned about our young dog picking up bad habits and having accidents in the house after staying in a dirty environment. After cancelling and receiving a refund, Kristin reached out to me via Facebook messenger. She mentioned her daughter and my son going to school together, and it made me very uncomfortable. We’ve always appreciated Rover using local homes for our dogs to stay in, but I feel like this situation has crossed a line. I’m concerned about the negative messages I’ve reviewed and truly upset with the feedback I’ve gotten.

Veldig mange fine hundepassere antakelig, men appen er skikkelig dårlig. Må melde inn avtale om pass flere ganger selv om avtalt og jeg har betalt og alt synes i orden. Hvor mange ganger skal jeg gjøre denne øvelsen- var uklart inntil siste kveld før reise og pass.

Inutile, tous les éventuels pet sitters refusent les visites alors qu’ils apparaissent dans les résultats de recherche, ils sont tous « trop loin » (même pour 10min de route…)

Two sitter first one cancel with in the first week second one could not get a hold of seems Rover was not paying her so she tired to get more money and I fired her and will need used Rover again you to vet you sitters better.

Had major issues with sitter, let her go after 1st night. Dogs were left in dangerous situation, had to get help from another person to save them! Contacted Rover, every communication takes 72 hours for them to respond. Been 7 days, still waiting! Why use Rover? They say it's between you and the sitter, an independent contractor, yet I paid them!!!

Would like to give a negative star! How do you expect to draw clients to your business when you advertise commercials using music/songs talking about being a "nasty girl and be a nasty girl". I will NEVER bring my fur babies to use any of your services.
