The app is easy to use
The app is easy to use, and the response time was great from the list of dog sitters. Whenever I’ve used Rover before in the past, I had the same experience.

totally professional BUT
Rover covers all the necessary communications thoroughly…as well as insurance! Awesome professional outfit. What I dislike is that I used to pay an additional $10 on the base of $25 making it 35 for an hour walk/feed etc - and now suddenly it is $30 for the extra half hour making a total of $50. Maybe I am missing something but that increase pushes me totally away.

Good sitters, but beware of holiday pricing!
I liked the person who took care of my pets and plan to book him again. But when I tried to book him for a time in June I found out the company had raised the prices for Holiday rates. I wasn't booking for a holiday, yet Rover, not the sitter,was charging me more because it was summertime. I thought that was not transparent and not very fair in pricing. I'm not sure how they call All Of Summer a holiday and use it to justify raising the rates.

Walking the pets back
Talia was great since without a car she was able to walk our Ally cat in her cat carrier and our dog Zoey from her house after we dropped them off back to our house when it was time.

My most recent experience was great…
My most recent experience was great from start to finish. Last year not so much. Would've really liked a heavier handed intervention when things went wrong last year- the sitter was able to coerce us into not making to hefty a complaint by holding our funds hostage. This years experience was much better.
