I was not allowed to tip over 30%…
I was not allowed to tip over 30% and when I asked my sitter to include a $20 tip for herself in the total, she sent back a request for $65 with an "extended service fee" even though the agreement was 24 hours and she had them for 20. Not cool.

Hi, we're sorry to hear that you had an issue trying to tip your sitter. For the booking modification, the good news is that once a booking is agreed to by both parties. Any modification made must also be agreed to by both the pet's owner and the sitter. Tipping is a new feature that we've recently added and we're still looking for ways to improve the experience.

Great concept, poor execution
Rover is such a great idea, and I had really high hopes when I set up my profile. However, after 3+ hours of messaging people whose calendars said they were available for the date I needed a pet sitter only to have them say they weren't actually available, what's the point? I understand it's down to the individual to keep their calendar up to date, but it's not just one or two sitters, it's the majority. There must be some way to ensure people who log on regularly are keeping their availability up to date? So it's a great idea, but it's so time consuming and really frustrating trying to find someone who is available, it's not really worth the hassle.

Poorly designed site & dubious policies
Great service in principle but one of the clunkiest websites I've used in decades. Totally unintuitive, hard to find previous messages. Just a mess. Also when they set up their profiles, I'm not sure how many sitters notice that their rate for walks is only for 30 minutes. First of all, a 30-minute walk is ridiculous. Second it's idiotic that a sitter who is priced at £30/day is also proposing to charge me £30 (2x£15) for a single one-hour walk. In the end, I found a friend to walk my dog.

We have used Rover.com over the past several years and have loved it, and the pet sitters we have used. The website is easy to use and the Sitters have been great!!

Sitter Not Up To Par.
Our pet sitter was not up to par, left our house a mess, left our dogs in for 8-10 hours at a time, and left our back door wide open for 10+ minutes at a time. It was so bad we had to still ask friends and family to help us with our dogs even though we were paying a Rover rep.

too many emails not related to my…
too many emails not related to my bookings. Tempted to just filter out all email with a spam filter.

First,The website is difficult to…
First,The website is difficult to navigate. Second, I’m tired of the multiple emails that I get advertising products from Rover every day.
