The sitters I found were great
The sitters I found were great. Environment for my two large dogs was safe and roomy out in the woods. I would definitely use again, although I did have some trouble maneuvering around the app.

While both providers I’ve used have…
While both providers I’ve used have been great, Rovers policy of charging $30 for a puppy and $18 for an adult dog became $48 to let my dogs out the back door to my own yard for 30 minutes. Adding the rover “fees” and I paid $150 for three visits. Then was asked to tip my sitters. I would use them for an emergency but would not consider it for any kind of regular care. Far too expensive.

Rover.com makes it easy to book with a sitter. There appears to be a sitter for every situation. I do wish that there was a way to narrow down your search more. The search is mostly based on dates available, perfect! However, beyond that it would be helpful to create a search based on # of dogs sitter watches, type of dog, etc. I needed to read through a lot of sitters before finding the right one and I almost just stopped. I looked for several days before making contact.

The website is great
The website is great, however I feel the 10% fee is high, 5% would be more reasonable. Rikki the dogwatcher was great.

Overall was pleased with Rover
Overall was pleased with Rover. My only complaint is I had a sitter cancel within a couple hours of her scheduled arrival time, and I was unable to leave a review for her.

Rover is a great site
Rover is a great site! I've used it to find reliable dog care in 3 different states. Very satisfied. They claim their sitters are background checked and they provide assistance if someone falls through which provides great peace of mind when traveling. Their online platform can be confusing and not totally use friendly but once you get used to it, it's manageable.

The instructions on a sitter cancelling…
The instructions on a sitter cancelling were not very clear, and I guess since I didn't cancel with her immediately I could not get a full refund. Otherwise everything was good.
