I had the absolute best experience with rover.com. The young lady, Aleesa, that babysit my cat was absolutely wonderful. There was one small thing that I wasn't crazy about. There are some fees that you don't know about until you've either booked, or needed to change your booking. The cost, and fees can get a little bit pricey. however, when someone reliable is caring for our little furry babies, we should be willing to pay a little bit more.

Overall I like Rover. It would be great if there was an option to see if sitters already have clients booked and closed for additonal bookings. Some sitters will have a booking or 2 scheduled but still show available and then when I reach out they saying they aren't available. It's frustrating.

The answer is yes it's worth the money and it is mostly easy to set up and book. I have used Rover a few times now and it is most definitely worth the money. Before Rover I tried and tried to find a kennel that worked for my small breed dog and senior cat. Every kennel experience resulted in a vet visit for both pets. Using a Rover caregiver that has not happened, and I don't believe it ever will. Next is it easy to use. Yes, most of the time. It takes some time to set up the account and find and meet a Rover caregiver but that just takes planning. I have had a few problems after booking dates and making changes to those dates but my Rover caregiver was very helpful every time I have had an issue. The site mechanics are not without flaw but if you have a caregiver that is helpful and willing to workout problems with Rover you will have no issues that can't be solved. To sum it all up, yes it's worth the money and yes it's pretty easy. I gave 4 stars only because the booking is not flawless, otherwise the care is 6 stars!

My sitter was great! I had a previous sitter cancel without notifying me so it was a truly last minute need for boarding. She was friendly and kind. Tucker was happy and well cared for and came home tired!

The opportunity to leave my cats for any amount of time & not have to worry that 1) they’d kill each other or starve while I was gone 2) my house would be destroyed as only 2 frustrated anxious felines could do was well worth the time & $$$ outlay! The young woman from Rover was just adorable & my cats took to her right away. She was attentive to their needs & personalities, playing with my younger cat & cuddling with the older one. Actually, I think they were disappointed when I walked in the door - thinking it’d be their Fun New playmate! Finding Rover made a huge difference in my peace of mind for the weekend & I recommend them highly.
