I think it's a great service that you offer. The item I didn't like was that I was charged for the full fees when I made my reservation. So If I'm planning a trip in a month or two you are charging me two months in advance. I think a small deposit would be better. Specially when you don't pay the dog sitter until two days after the end of the care for my dog.

I loved the caregiver, but not the app. The app is glitchy and would not save my profile info, so I stopped trying to enter it. Julie M was fantastic. She earned top rating!!

What astounds me with Rover is that you can't sort by distance. This is a major flaw for me. Everything else is pretty good but that is so bad and has put me off using it alot.

It’s pretty easy to find a dog walker or sitter but difficult to change the service you want. I really wanted the person to take my dogs for a walk but I had requested a drop in . I couldn’t change it though I tried. Also, Rover ends up being expensive. I paid $35 to have someone let my two dogs out for 10 minutes then she was gone! So no, I did not tip her. Should you really have to pay more to let two dogs out to pee instead of one?

J'ai commencé à utiliser Rover pour rechercher un pet-sitter pour mon chat cet été, et jusque là tout va bien : Site plutôt intuitif avec beaucoup de possibilités de filtres et j'ai rapidement trouvé une personne à une proximité relative. Pas encore de retour d'expérience puisque la réservation est à venir, mais à priori ça devrait aller. Séduit par la formule, je me suis dit : Tiens, pourquoi ne pas m'inscrire moi-même comme Pet Sitter ? Et bien croyez moi, il faut être vraiment motivé ! On a l'impression de postuler pour devenir espion à la CIA, au FBI ou pour le MI6 : Des tonnes d'informations personnelles voire très privées demandées sur vous et vos animaux, des demandes de témoignages, d'expériences, des papiers d'identité à fournir sous certains formats (pdf non acceptés, uniquement des photos), des vérifications à faire par selfies ou par webcam, des demandes de compléments d'informations à envoyer par mail sur vous et les personnes de votre entourage avec nouvelles preuves d'identité desdits amis et j'en passe ! Heureusement que je l'ai fait un 1er mai, jour férié, ça m'a pris des heures et l'adhésion n'est pas encore confirmée. Bref, ça frôle la paranoïa, sans compter la collecte intrusive des données... Vu que le site est américain, j'espère qu'ils connaissent la DGPR (ou RGPD en VO).

I don't find the website very user friendly. I am looking for someone to look after my dogs in the near future as I'm due to have surgery and will be in hospital for 3 or 4 days but I don't have dates confirmed yet. I would like to contact a home boarder and meet them and let them meet my dogs before I get the dates but am unable to do this on the website. Also when clicking the calendar the dates come up in the American format.. ie mm/dd/yyyy which is confusing.
