What I like about Rover is its ease of…
What I like about Rover is its ease of use in finding reliable pet sitters/care givers. My person was excellent and went above and beyond enticing my shy cats to interact during her visits. I also like how Rover enables messaging and photos immediately for each visit. What I don't like is Rover has added a service charge above and beyond the cut they take from the sitter's fee.

Rover is always a gamble for me
Rover is always a gamble for me. Some sitters are wonderful and some turn out awful. I was very lucky to find a wonderful sitter through Rover and hope to keep her for a long time.

Great service, too many emails.
Once a contract has been placed, contact between parties should be direct between parties and not through Rover.com. The amount of emails and texts from Rover.com is overwhelming while using the service. What could be discussed in a simple text generates multiple intrusions that need to be read, answered and deleted when I really just want to enjoy my time away on vacation.

I loved finding someone who I trusted but I felt that there were FAR too many emails.

Great options for pet care
The care givers are well represented and thoroughly vetted. The app is a bit cumbersome and lacks enough flexibility for me to call it easy to use. I do not use the app for routine pet services but for unique times and durations.

The site is easy to use but…
The site is easy to use but improvements to navigation would be helpful. If the user needs to make a change, you need to cancel the request and start again. Additionally, when you want to duplicate a request, the site does not provide sufficient information on the previous requests.
