Matt
Not what we were promised at all
Tried this service while we went out of town for Xmas last year. The person we chose seemed nice enough and appeared to know how to take care of dogs in the initial visit. We left for vacation out of state and while I monitored our doors opening and closing with our security system I could see when she came and went, let the dogs out, etc. She let them out for exactly 3 minutes in the morning, left for 10-12 hours before returning then let them out for another 3 minutes. She would then leave again and get back close to midnight or 1 am. I get people want to spend time with their families during the holidays but she was paid to do a job and did not do what she told us she would by a long shot. I changed our return flight because of this and got home a day earlier than planned. The dogs appeared to be OK when we got back although they slept way more than usual for the next 2 days. My suspicion is she left them outside all day while she was gone and they had to sleep on cold concrete which they are not accustomed to at all. Would not use or recommend this service due to the lack of oversight on sitters and seem to only care about getting your money. By the way our sitter was a recovering alcoholic, not a problem for me except she apparently still hasn't learned responsibility.

Hi Matt, As fellow pet lovers and owners we certainly understand your concerns regarding this stay. This is definitely not the typical Rover experience and we want to make sure we provide the necessary coaching to the sitter. Unfortunately, we were unable to contact you directly given the limited information from this post but please know that we take these situations very seriously. Would you mind giving our support team a call at 888-453-7889 so we can get the booking information from this stay? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Kate H.
